The best we could be is a 3 seed...

being tied for 4th place with Orlando a day after Xmas is way more than any Knicks fan could of hoped for..

STAT and Felton are leadin.. chandler, turiaf , fields and gallo, williams and t doug r fillin in their roles

ESPN HEADLINE...

NY KNICKS use 4th quarter Defense to win against the BULLS.. (8+ min no baskets)

When did yiu last hear that??????

So lets enjoy more than we hoped for comin into the season...

Teams 1 to 4 in each conference are the three division winners and the team with the next best regular-season record, with the seeding of these four teams determined by regular-season record. The playoffs seedings of Teams 5 to 8 are based upon regular-season record. Ties are broken pursuant to the rules set forth below

(1) (a) Since the three division winners are guaranteed a spot in the top four, ties to determine the division winners must be broken before any other ties.
(b) When a tie must be broken to determine a division winner, the results of the tie-break shall be used to determine only the division winner and its playoff position, not any other playoff position(s).

We currently own the tiebreaker against the Bulls, for whatever that's worth.

We're going to have to come in guns blazing to win down the stretch...we have a TON of games in January

It's a shocker for sure and a lot more than I had hoped for at the start of the season but long may it continue.

well we are only getting better.. In the Bull's game we showed we can closed out a game with defense.. All we have to do is continue and build off of that game..
Now we are back on track again.. Hopefully we can pass Boston.. Lets just hope the team doesn't get dismantled for a certain somebody (Carmelo)..
All we need is another Center and maybe another Point guard.. idk but i have some faith in TD..
LETS GO KNICKS!!!!!

:update:
our 2011 pick this year can still be ours..

Houston only has the right to swap with us...they r below .500

and if this continues they will keep their own pick...

even though they got our 2012 outright..it should be a late first round pick

which is what we hoped for

not feelin that bad about the jefferies trade now..

and i must admit.. not willing to give up the farm for melo either

I remember last year talking to a Bobcats fan (yes they exist). I said I don't care about the pick swap, we'll be a winning team and they won't.

the rockets don't suck they are 0.5 games behind Portland for the 8th seed.

Im enjoying this as much as anyone, yes we are tied w/ the Magic but remember they just made that trade and beat two very hot teams and can only get better. At best right now judging from the first 30 games were the 4th-5th best team.Pretty much at the Bulls level,i'd have to see us beat them with their whole front court to say if we're the hands down 4th best team.

Still:gony:
