The Los Angeles Lakers reached agreement in principle with former Cleveland Cavaliers coach Mike Brown Wednesday on a four-year contract worth more than $18 million to replace 11-time NBA champion coach Phil Jackson. The fourth year is at the team's option, according to a source, although there are incentives in the deal that could guarantee the final season.

Mike Brown looks like Buddy McGirt, that alone is funny as hell.

I did like his work in Cleveland though, took them to the Finals - Whatmore can you say?

L.A. has always been a strange place though, it's clear that the superstar players rule this place and not the coaches (apart from Jaxx maybe).

The way the kicked Rudy T out was nasty, a coach who won 2 rings with Houston...crazy.

Good luck to Buddy...ehm Mike, he'll need it in L.A. :teeth:
