Stephon Marbury summed up the mood in the Team USA camp after their semi-final elimination from the Olympics, saying: "I couldn't imagine not winning the gold medal. Until now."

Marbury, who set a United States Olympics scoring record on Thursday with a 31-point haul against Spain and who again led the way in the last-four defeat to Argentina on Friday with 18, was left stunned by their exit, which leaves his team facing a bronze medal match against Lithuania on Saturday evening.

"Just because a team loses doesn't mean it wasn't ready. We were ready. You have to give credit to Argentina, but that doesn't take away from how hard our players played. I'm proud of every one of them."
Could not say any better. One more thing to add though: refs were horrible.

I liked the article, thanks rady!
