Turiaf playing overseas

I didn't find any thread about Ronny Turiaf playing overseas, so here we go. It seems he's doing pretty good in France playing together with a Spurs' star Tony Parker, another NBA mate Hilton Armstrong (Hawks), a 2005 Knicks draft Dijon Thompson and a former Virginia Commonwealth power forward Jamie Skeen aspiring to get drafted into the NBA.
Tuesday, 11/15 the beard of Zeus makes his first attempt in the transnational Eurocup against Valencia of Florent Pi?trus (Micka?l's brother), are some of you guys going to watch our only Knick doing his job (playing)?
Here you got Asvel playing against Nancy with Balzers' Batum on the roster:

Well, tonight Lyon beat Valencia 87:78, our guy Turiaf played ~25 minutes, scored 12 points (4/7 FG + 4/7 FT) and added 5 rebounds and a block.

And in his 2nd game (4-5 days ago) :
25 mins, 6 pts (FG 3/7 FT 0/5 !), 8 Rbs, 2 A and 4 Blocks

It's good for him to play in France, to improve and to be in shape (he DNP the Euro Champ because of a broken finger)
There are a lot of teams here that are quite happy with the prolonged NBA lock out ... Parker has a 1500euros/month contract for ASVEL ! (but he owns partly the team)

Alot of the small-market teams should make a deal with a few overseas teams with their unsign draft picks, and 2nd season players.

GoodVib....how many games did Turiaf miss after he came back
from the hand injury?
Im glad KO members could seeTuriaf boxscores show his best
talent/position as a NBA player backing-up Amare for 20 minutes
per game. He is not a starter or center.

It seems he missed just four LNB games before he signed with Lyon (11/4).

And a deal between small-market teams and overseas teams won't be possible, many European national leagues have a non-European players limitation.

Turiaf is def not a NBA starter, but imo he complements good with Stoud by bringing good defense and rebound

About 2nd rounders playing in europe : Strasbourg, my home-town team, is playing with 3 rookies (Justin Harper 32th pick, Lavoy Allen 50th and Kevin Anderson undrafted) who are doing good.
It's good for this kids to improve their skills and discover pro basketball while others are playing exhibition games with zero D
It would be good for Shumpert to find a good euroleague team to play with before NBA starts again, imo
