You're starting Douglas over Fields, presumably.

I'd stick with Landry for the initial part of the season. Unless, of course, Douglas comes out of rehab rejuvenated and as tenacious defensively as he was at the start of last season.

Ty Chan (I like that, sounds like a Kung Fu bad guy), STAT, Melo and Fields on the glass is a hot prospect. Could we possibly go from glass cleaning woes to glass cleaning pros in one foul swoop?

*facepalm* I forgot about Douglas, I was thinking a vet like Hill to be the starter. We'll see how Douglas plays, he was on and off a few times, but he's got heart. Shumpert has got some earning to do. What about moving Fields to the 3 and leaving room for Shumpert?

Probably play Carmelo at the 3.

Landry Fields
Shawne or Sean Williams
Kurt Thomas
Jordan

Balkman and Jefferies are the definition of scrubs

I dont know if that 's possible but it sure looks like a sweet 2nd unit to me!

Toney and Landry are our startes at #1 and #2 in the upcoming season. Thomas isn't even interested in Knicks and D'Antoni said he likes Harrellson and isn't even sure we'll keep Jordan...

Yea I know toney n landry are starting but when we work out a situation where our starting 1 and 2 are better and those 2 are our backups we'll be stacked. I hope josh works out but he either needs to lose weight or gain muscle plus how tall is he wont we still need a backup C?

As 2-game preseason starts in a few days, and Knicks have 12 players
under contract, here what starting five/bench should look like, assuming
Jerome Jordan and Extra E are signed:

PG Toney Defense/The Bib
SG Laundry Folds/ I-man Sherbert
SF Melo/Extra E/SkyWalker
PF STAT/Jorts/Girafferies
C Chanhandler/JerJor

if by some miracle Crawful comes back into the fold, he'll be starting SG.
If Extra E doesn't sign, 6'9" euro dudes we got in Chandler deal could fill
bench, but I assume Glenwald is trying hard to bolster PG, SG, SF positions
with "room exception".

at PF and C we're looking good, as all PF can play C, especially Giraffries
with his neckface defense...

Is there any chance the knicks could take on Rudy Fernadez contract by sending the Mavs walker and using the remainder of the rautins TPE? The rumor is the mavs want to move him to probably make a bid for dwight now.

Fields could start and rudy has shown he can be an ok backup SG.
