I know Melo had one of his best offensive games of the season and the Knicks escaped with a win but this team has a lot of work to do before they can compete against the top teams in the East.

Defense was terrible, should be easier, but win is a win. Congrats for Melo, finally good move in the end of game.

Not totally happy with this win...but would have felt much worst had we lost!

Not sure why Woody had Felton on Teague Smith on Stehphenson and Shump on Korver that last play.....I would've for obvious reasons moved Felton off Teague for the more mobile Stephenson, had Smith chasing Korver if need be and our best perimeter Defender on their best perimeter player!

But Gotta say I like Woody for having the courage to have Melo Amare and Tyson out there together at the end....win or loss we got to get them used to being out there together and we got the win.

Another good step for Stat in his comeback.

Winner winner chicken dinner woot! Tonight was a perfect example of a scorer "Melo" " shooting himself hot". Melo got off to a slow start, but was confident enough in his game to keep shooting and let the game come to him. Those were good, open shots in the flow of the offense, jus not falling. And then Melo got hot....and the game winner???? MELO-ISO....as it should be:)

Work in progress.

Not to keen on Woody having mind made up on who finishes the game from now until the playoffs. Opponents, production and facts on the floor should dictate who plays down the stretch Woody has to be far more willing to make adjustments on the fly if the Knicks are going to make a real run come the Spring.

Keys from now to the spring, get healthy, improve chemistry and take care of bidnis in our house.

P.S Tech on Melo after getting poked in the eye.... bar none joke call of the season. Nearly cost us the game.

late game defense is what matters...great win. gotta improve that early game defense if we wanna go on a serious streak though.

Where's the DEFENSE ?????

44 minutes of NO-NO-NO-DEFENSE from ISO-Melo .. Melo performance kept Atlanta in the game .. Atlanta Hawks had a season high shooting 60% from FG percentage 39-65 fga. Melo & JR are always lost on the defensive-end .. Melo is only playing for his stat-scoring-record making the Knicks-Team look like a non-playoff team (shooting 38% thru the month of January).

Coach Woodson is clueless on coaching Felton & Shump .... PG-Teague scored 27 easy points, PG-Holiday scored 35 easy points, and PG-Rondo had a tripple-double, in our last 3 games.
Felton never could defend PG in his career, Shump is suppose to defend all our oponents PG when Felton is on the court .... Hint: we gave PG-Toney Douglas 27 minutes per game as a backcourt tandem with Felton, to defend oponents PG, which led to Felton having his best season in the NBA.

The Atlanta Hawks are one of the best well-rounded teams in the east, it's fair that it was THAT close, this team is not Charlotte.

Our chemistry as a team with the old-new pieces we have right now needs time to be fully working, give it time boys!

We have been spoiled by our blow-out wins at the beginning of the season. Well guess what, it usually gets harder and more competitive as the seasons progresses.

We are on the right track, expect the team to have a better ball movement and chemistry next game, it might be a minor improvement, but the increment will be higher later on.

Have faith and be realistic.

Melo-iso won't win us a championship.

I agree. But the point is we have a game closer, which Melo is one of the best in the game. Look at last night's end game situation. We needed a bucket. A layup is the easiest bucket %. So you run Melo-Iso 1-4 isolation clear-out to one side. ATL doesn't double-team, weakside rotation is too late and as Darth Vader said in Empire Stikes back:"all too easy..." Winner winner:)
