rady... as usual nice thread... I didn't know jose had a twin???? haha.... better then a twin of jr, or bags, or ... its a long list...

Thanks for another great game thread. Big game tonight...ah, who am I kidding? The NYC teams are a joke, but tonight is another night to try to build something, anything, towards a more positive future. Let's go Knicks! Loving the double Calderon backcourt as a solution to our garbage SG performances by the way.

Rady needs to insert this image in his player library. He would use it a lot with this Knicks squad and Coach Fisher running the show.

I hope DFish starts Stat and gives him 30 plus minutes. Jason Smith has had his moments this season but he's limited and Dally is what he's been a backup C on most NBA squads and shouldn't be starting for the Knicks.

agree ... agree and agree.,..

No JR Smith tonight due to flu-like symptoms. Big chance for someone else to step up and start to steal away some of his minutes in the future. Stat will be in starting lineup tonight according to pre-game show.

Melo carrying us right now. 9 of our first 16 points plus he's the one who setup Stat for a nice dunk earlier in the quarter.

Continue to play terrible basketball overall. Nets had a lead as big as 11 in the first quarter without really doing anything all that special so far other than just playing their standard gameplan. Once again, we're on pace to score less than 80 points against a team that allows opponents to average 100.

We crawl back into this game, but more because the Nets have also become completely inept on offense than anything else. This game might turn into a first team to 75 points wins game in the 2nd half if this kind of play continues. THJ getting good looks, but 0 for 5. His poor shooting in particular is a back breaker. I swear, if we had Novak back out there, we'd be averaging at least 10 more points a game with how this offensive style would have suited him.

Nothing against Dalembert, but if he can't slow down Lopez, then he should be out of the game for either Jason Smith or Aldrich. Starting to get a little something going here offensively here in the 2nd quarter.

Melo, Stat, Calderon, and Shump starting to make it work out there. Huge if those 4 with whatever big Coach Fisher wants out there can get it going as a unit.

Calderon should be a shoot first PG in this offense. The Knicks need his scoring.
