My money is on the Grizz...We appreciate the effort posting game threads...their is almost no hope in rationalizing a victory for the knicks tonight. I am beyond rooting for them...rooting for Lottery now.

The Griz aren't playing great without Zebo but they don't need him playing the Knicks. Conley is going to feast on Calderon at both ends, quick athletic PGs toy with JC. On any given day any NBA team can beat another but odds are we see the boys tie the franchise record losing streak tonight.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to trade guard Dion Waiters in a deal involving the New York Knicks and Oklahoma City Thunder, according to multiple reports. New York guard J.R. Smith and swingman Iman Shumpert are headed to the Cavs, according to Yahoo Sports. Early reports indicated Thunder guard Reggie Jackson would be on the way to New York, but those were incorrect, according to Steve Popper of The Record.

Waiters, center Alex Kirk and forward Lou Amundson were present for the pregame introductions for Cleveland's game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, but all left the court area before it tipped off. Kirk and Amundson, along with Oklahoma City's Lance Thomas, are going to the Knicks with a future Cavs second-round pick, according to The Record.

The Cavs officially announced that the trio of players are involved in trade discussions, per Bleacher Report's Ethan Skolnick.

More on this wacky deal as it develops.

Finally, JR Smith is someone else's headache. People said he and his player option for next year were untradeable, but obviously not.

Although our offense looks severely overmatched by this Memphis defense, we continue to have around down by about 10. We do not look like a team that could make a run though.

Jason Smith and Aldrich the focus of our offense coming out of the half and each with a couple buckets early in the 3rd quarter.

The pressure from Memphis finally starting to get to us and the lead is extended to 14 here in the mid 3rd quarter. The lineup of Aldrich, Jason Smith, THJ, Calderon, and Larkin has been playing well together, but just nowhere near enough talent on the court.

Calderon with 10 points on 4 of 6 shooting and 6 assists to 2 TOs. All our guards play terrible perimeter defense, so he is not unique in that regard. If PJ can move Calderon's contract he should do it, but he may be one of the few pieces here to stay for next couple years.

I wonder if Gasol will have any affect on PJ trading Calderon since the two of them are friends? Also it wouldn't surprise me if Calderon demands a trade to get out of NY.

Philly beat Cleveland tonight. We did it, fellas! Officially the worst record in the NBA now that Philly also has 5 wins (so does Minnesota) and we have 4 more losses. If the lottery was held today, we'd have the best odds of the number one overall pick (which of course means we wouldn't get it). Truly mission accomplishment in sight for the season that was lottery ball at its finest. Maybe we can even set a record for worst record in NBA history. I sure don't see us winning another game this year.

2 of our 5 wins are vs 76ers...we need to loose those games!!!

Sad but true the Knicks are probably the worst team in the NBA by far. Might not only set the franchise record losing streak but the NBA all time losing streak as well with what's left after trading JR and Shump. Sure didn't expect a season like this.

certainly that would be me... I stand corrected, and applaud the zen-master... I guess we do indeed need to give him some time b4 grading him..
