Tonight game 4 (without Ja Morant) will let us know if Tyus Jones has the capability to be a full time starter PG ....

Tonight, Boston Celtics win over Bucks shows that Marcus Smart deserve the MVP and DPY .. The guy does everything to WIN !!!

    The 2nd Round Playoffs ....

Game 4 Celtics vs Bucks .. The Celtics ball-movement and 50% FG shooting, plus a strong defense to have the transitional Bucks shoot 41% from FG to give the Celtics a 116-108 win.
    Series Tied at 2-2

Game 4 GS Warriors vs Grizz .. The GS Warriors let the Grizz have the lead from tip-off, until the final 45 seconds of the game .. A puppet on a string .. The GS Warriors beat the Grizz 101-98
The GS Warriors lead the Series 3-1

Well, the New NBA Playoff has been ???
    1)
    2)
    3) All the FLOPPING in the first 3 quarters of the game has to stop!
The final quarter of the game I could deal with a flop or two.

Tyus Jones would’ve a caddy:insurance for IQ…. Help carry the load. The plan (flawed as it is) would be, again, for D-Rose to be the 4th Q closer.

I prefer this route than spending 100 mil on Brunson.

The Knicks would've had an above .500 season if coach Thibs would've put the rookie PG McBride in the game rotation back in the month of January, or February.
McBride's talent/skills are way above the G League tournament, plus he played well in lineups having Quickley, Obi, Taj or MitchRob.

Coach Thibs wasn't Fired, because he wants the same thing as Perry/Leon.
The miracle PG that could co-exist in a lineup alongside the LOSER tandem Randle & Barrett.
The Knicks had several PG that couldn't co-exist in a lineup alongside Randle and Barrett.
    1) Allonzo Trier
    2) Kadeem Allen
    3) D.Smith Jr
    4) Frank
    5) Rivers
    6) Payton
    7) Kemba
And fans wondered why D.Rose wanted no part of being in the starter lineup alongside Randle & Barrett.
Recall .. The Knicks 2nd unit lineup out-perform the Knicks starter lineup in all of the Knicks first 20 games of the 2021-22 season, before Thibs blamed the 5 starters loser-performance on PG Kemba Walker by taking Kemba out of the rotation to go 2-8 in the next 10 games.

Reading that list of PGs RJ played with, it make me sad… rally sad. Depressed. That’s the pitiful bball we have been forced to put up with.

Tyus Jones, even the best back up PG, is better than all 7 of them.

    The 2nd Round Playoffs ....

Game 5 In Miami vs Philly 76ers .. Became a 35 pt WIN for the Miami Heats team.
The 120-85 Heats win was over a Philly team that was in Miami, but wish they were still in Philly. The 76ers found it hard to outscore the Heats in all 4 quarters.
The Miami Heats lead series 3-2

Game 5 In Phoenix vs Dallas Mavs .. Became a 30 pt WIN for the Phoenix Suns team.
A teams Big win for their COY Monti Williams .. The Suns 2nd half explosion 61-34 were two-levels above the Mavs performance on both sides of the court.
The Phoenix Suns lead the Series 3-2

Will Philly 76ers & Dallas Mavs Tie the series in Game 6 at their Home ???

Knicks Fans .. Are Brunson's performance worth $100M contract?
Will Brunson be able to co-exist in a lineup having Randle & Barrett calling all the shots?

90% of the time when those SEVEN PG brang the ball up court they were force to pass the ball to green-light Barrett or Randle, and the two players would dribble-dribble then shoot the ball as if they had no teammates, and the offense was all about Randle or Barrett for 3 consecutive seasons.
The Knicks center MitchRob has average above 70% FG shooting in all 4 seasons in the NBA. Having Randle & Barrett control the offense for 3 seasons, MitchRob were lucky to get 3 to 4 FGA a game. As a rookie without Randle & Barrett on the Knicks, MitchRob average 5 FGA per game playing 15 to 18 minutes a game.

I wouldn’t pass to those 7 either, not if my livelihood was on the line.

Let’s recap where and what those 7 did this season shall we?

    1) Allonzo Trier (out of NBA 2 years)
    2) Kadeem Allen (out of NBA 2 years)
    3) D.Smith Jr. (1 leg in China league)
    4) Frank. (11 mpg 3rd string backup)
    5) Rivers. (22 mpg / 6 ppg backup)
    6) Payton (11 mpg 3rd string backup)
    7) Kemba (Done for 2 seasons)

This list is devoid of even a serviceable backup PG.

    The 2nd Round Playoffs ....

Game 6 Miami Heats vs Philly 76ers in Philly was not a delightful finish for the Philly fans (Big talk on Hardens performance). Butler out-performed Embiid throughout the game and series for the NBA MVP award in a 99-90 Heats win to go to the ECF.
    Heats WIN Series 4-2

Game 6 Boston vs Bucks .. Was the opposite of Game 5 .. Where the Bucks beat Celtics at home 110-107, then tonight the Celtics beat Bucks at home to go to a Game 7 in Boston.
    Tied Series at 3-3

Game 6 Phoenix Suns vs Dallas Mavs .. The Mavs dynamic defense put a freeze on the Suns Booker/Bridges/CP3 scoring to grab a 113-86 win over the Suns for a Game 7.
    Tied Series at 3-3

Game 6 GS Warriors vs Grizz .. Was also the opposite of Game 5 where the Grizz 134-95 at home beat the Warriors by 39 points .. Tonight, in GS Warriors home for Game 6 the Warriors came alive and played at the next level of the NBA in the final 6 minutes of the game for a 110-96 Win to go to the WCF.
    GS Warriors Win Series 4-2

Tyus Jones would be a great FA pick-up for the Knicks in the offseason, but I doubt the Grizz will let him go after Jone's dynamic performance replacing Ja Morant in regular season, and the Postseason games.
A NBA team would do well if they are capable of trading for any of the Grizz 11 Man rotation of players in the offseason.

    7) Kemba (Done for 2 seasons)

This list is devoid of even a serviceable backup PG.
Those 7 PG didn't have a chance performing in GM Perry and Knicks head coach's first and second option (Randle & Barrett) shoot-first iso-offense, and lack luster defense for 48 minute games.
For two seasons, Payton was the only PG the Knicks gave the green light to shoot, and be the decision-making on offense which never lead to ball-movement, until D.Rose arrived as a Knicks.
Randle's best performance for the Knicks are when he makes lots of complete passes in a game.
Which has been taking the ball out of the PG hands, especially when Randle consistently keep dribbling the ball up-court throughout his 40 minute per game.
The Knicks had a successful 2020-21 regular-season on D.Rose 24 minutes performance each game of taking control of the ball on offense, especially D.Rose offense decision making going down the stretch of the game, which lead to a 41-31 Knicks season.

Kemba Walker playing the PG role in the rotation, then D.Rose playing the PG role as Kemba's backup threw a wrench in Julius Randle performance at the start of the season, when Randle's role as being the Knicks main offensive facilitator to distribute the ball had change having Kemba & D.Rose as the Knicks 48 minute PG to facilitate the offense put a stop to Randle calling the shots, and getting to dribble plus touch the ball on every Knicks offensive possession.
PF- Julius Randle started forcing his way into the PG position at the start of the season pushing Kemba out of position by Randle dribbling the ball down court on every Knicks offensive possession making the Knicks starter lineup look terrible. The Knicks 2nd unit lineup (D.Rose, Quickley, Burks, Obi, and Taj or Sims) out-perform the Knicks starter lineup in the preseason games, and the first 20 Knicks games of the season.

The End Games of the 2nd Round Playoffs ....

What happen to last season two NBA FINALS Team?
The Milwaukie Bucks in Game 7?
And the 64-18 Phoenix Suns in Game 7?

Game 7 .. Celtics vs Bucks .. The 26-20 score of the first quarter had two teams fighting for a win. The 2nd quarter the Celtics starters outscored the Bucks 28-17 to take a 5 pt Half Time lead.
The 2nd Half of the Game it was all Boston Celtics PF Grant Williams 27 pts were the top scorer of the game. The Bucks didn't show up for the 2nd half of the game their performance gave the Celtics a 109-81 win, and a trip to the ECF on a 28 pt WIN !!!
    Celtics WIN Series 4-3

Game 7 .. Mavs vs Suns .. At tip-off the Dallas Mavs dynamic offense/defense on both sides of the court didn't give Phoenix Suns a chance in the 1st or 2nd half of the game when coach Kidd had the Mavs players playing on the Next-Level of b.ball the first 42 minutes of the game. The Mavs took a 30 pt lead at Half Time (27-57). And a 42 pt lead at the end of the 3rd quarter.
Head coach Jason Kidd was a professor in the post season games as a player, now as a head coach down 0-2 in the 2nd round against the top winning contender team in the NBA the Phoenix Suns.
Coach Kidd started giving Frank's defensive talents double-digit playing time to slowdown the Suns top scorers (Booker/Bridges/CP3) in Game 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 to get 4 wins out of the next 5 games.
Coach Jason Kidd is still a win-win professor in the NBA postseason games.
The Mavs beat the Suns having a 33 pt lead in Game 7 to go to the WCF.
    Dallas Mavs WIN Series 4-3

    The Postseason ECF ....

Game 1 Boston Celtics at Miami Heats .... Butler's 41 pts, and defensive team-leadership in the 2nd half of the game turned the Celtics 8 point half time lead into a 118-107 Miami Heats win.
The Heats took over the game having a 39-14 3rd quarter run ..
The Celtics were without Smart & Horford.
    Heats lead Series 1-0

Game 2 Celtics at Heats .... The Celtics veterans Marcus Smart took Butler off his game, and Horford took Adebayo off his game as early as the 1st quarter by the two veterans adding team-leadership on the court which resulted in a 70-45 Celtics 25 pt lead at half time.
In the 2nd half of the game the Boston Celtics matched points with the Heats in both quarters to keep their 25 pt lead to the end of the game 127-102 ..
    Smart's 24 pts. 12 rbs, 9 Dimes was short of a triple-double in Miami.
    Tied Series at 1-1

    The Postseason WCF ....

Game 1 Dallas Mavs at GS Warriors .... The GS Warriors came out the Gate performing on the next level to take a 10 point lead in the 1st quarter (28-18), then the Splash Bro outscored the Mavs another 10 points in the 3rd quarter to win the game at 112-87 ..
A 25 point Warriors WIN by stopping the Mavs from scoring 90 pts.
If the Warriors rotation keep up this next-level performance the next 3 games ..
It will result in a Mavs sweep!
How the Dallas Mavs got to this level of the NBA (WCF) ???
The only bright answer are coach Jason Kidds strategic moves in the 14 postseason games.
    GS Warriors Lead Series 1-0

Game 2 Dallas Mavs at GS Warriors ....
The Dallas Mavs grabbed a 72-58 lead over the Warriors at Half Time.
    Mavs half time scorers ..

Brunson got 20 pts on 7-10 FG, plus 2 rbs, and 4 Dimes

    The Postseason WCF ....

Game 2 Dallas Mavs at GS Warriors ....
The 2nd half of the game it was ALL GS Warriors come from behind to win.
At the start of the 3rd quarter the Warriors center Looney scored 11 of his 21 pts to close the Mavs 14 pt half time lead to a Mavs 2 pt lead at the end of the 3rd quarter.
And in the 4th quarter the Mavs defense had no answer for the Warriors dynamic top scorers Curry, Klay, Wiggins, Poole, Porter, and center Looney who outscored the Mavs 43-32 in the 4th quarter for a 126-117 GS Warriors WIN.
Tonight, six Warriors players added double-digits points, the Warriors bench added 36 pts, compared to Mavs bench 13 pts.
The GS Warriors Lead Series 2-0

    The Postseason ECF ....

Game 3 Miami Heats at Boston Celtics .... A Hellova contact outing, Star players injuries took them to the locker room, some return back to the court (Smart & Tatum), and some didn't (Butler).
The Heats PG Lowry showed up for todays game to help the Heats grab a 39-18 first quarter lead over the Celtics.
The Heats had to fight tooth n nails the next two quarters to hold on to their 21 to 15 point lead. The Celtics high scorer Jaylen Brown 40 pt game worked hard at getting the Celtics a lead in the 4th quarter bringing the Heats lead down to 6 pts.
The Heats Adebayo 31 pts, Tucker's 17 pts, Strus 16 pts, and Lowry's 11 pts, and 6 Dimes held on tight to their lead going down the stretch for a 109-103 Heats win in Boston.
    Miami Heats Lead Series 2-1
