The Rox blew the Pacer out of their building in the 2nd quarter of the game for the 115-103 Rox Win .. Iso-Melo were DNP !!!
And Melo is not a HOF !!!!!!!
I saw this game and CP3 and Harden broke out of shooting slumps. CP3 had missed his last 16 3 pt shots before this game. Harden was on fire, can't blame the ROX slow start entirely on Melo, Ennis is no Ariza. That said the Rox may still cut Melo because that kid Gary Clark is a 3 and D guy Melo isn't, Melo can't defend and he's an average 3 pt shooter. I think the Rox would keep Melo if he could swallow his pride and agree to play behind Clark but his ego won't let him.

Casey's revenge knocking off the team that fired him. TOR led most of the game but the Pistons come back to beat his old team 106-104 on a last second banker by Bullock.

I'm Watching the Lakers vs 10-3 Blazers after our Fizdale-Knicks embarrassment road game tonite ....
Lebron and Walton got the Lakers team playing team-ball and Iso-ball in their half-court offense, plus the Lakers team put together a win-win defense tonight on the Blazers by defending tightly around all the Blazers double-screens and picks for a Lakers 126-117 win.
And the Portland Blazers has been playing on the next level since the start of the season.
Fizdale need to be watching some of these young-core NBA teams at their practice .. like the Lakers / Kings / Magic / Nets !!!

Unbelievable. Rumors are hot and heavy the Rox are going to waive him. A 2 way player Gary Clark is going to take his spot on the roster which is even more unbelievable.
Rumors no more. HOU has agreed to release Melo, his release will be pending to allow him to find another team. I thought it would work out in HOU because there were lower expectations for him there and he was willing to come off the bench something he said he wouldn't do in OKC but he couldn't defend well enough and 3 pt shooting was never his strong suit.

Where do you think he winds up Lakers, Warriors or maybe to the Nets who would look to replace Laverts scoring and would bring Melo back to NYC.

Mitchell with 35 shots and 0 assists tonight. He was 1-11 from downtown... Jazz lost to PHI by 6...

It?s early, but he?s taken a step back from the player he was last season.

Fox with his 3rd 20 point and 10 assist game of the season.

Just further illustrates the importance of being in the top 5 lottery as opposed to being on the outside... a few nutrionless wins brings a Knits instead of a Fox, a Gallinari and Jordan Hill instead of Westbrook and Curry.

Nobody will do what oKC did, 3 back 2 back 2 back MVP lottery selections... but if you can?t win then excel in losing until you?ve found your fiundation. And this is also flimsy bc you?re dependent on the talent of the particular draft class. You need to strike when the time is right! Zion!

Good for Fox. Go back to my old posts Fox was my guy ahead of Lonzo, maybe SAC finally becomes that borderline playoff team that I've been predicting they would become. They're knocking at the door in the 9th seed witn an above .500 record.

Yeah, I liked Fox too ahead of Ball. Lakers really missed with Deangelo Russell and Ball over Porzingis and Tatum.

I may have to catch the Knicks in SAC-town next year, when KP and Zion come to visit.

Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell was disgusted by his line in the box score Friday night.

"I took 35 shots. That can't happen. Zero assists," Mitchell said after the Jazz's 113-107 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. "That's not who I am. That's not how I play. I know I'm still being aggressive, but I've got to be smart."

According to ESPN Stats & Information, it's the first 35-shot, no-assist outing in the NBA since Carmelo Anthony's 62-point performance for the New York Knicks in a win over the Charlotte Bobcats on Jan. 24, 2014. Before that, the last such statistical line in the league occurred two decades ago, when the Boston Celtics' Antoine Walker hoisted 35 shots without an assist in a loss on Jan. 7, 1998.

Nobody has taken so many shots with no assists and scored fewer points than Mitchell since the San Diego Rockets' Elvin Hayes had 28 points in a loss Feb. 8, 1969. But Utah coach Quin Snyder and Jazz veterans took no issue with Mitchell's shot selection against the 76ers.

Its early so you can't call DM a one hit wonder yet. He is so far having a worse season than that sensational rookie season but his problem has been knocking down that jumper this season. Shooters go through slumps so he'll probably reach the same efficiency he attained last year which wasn't really anything to write home about (34% 3 pt %). He's become the face of the franchise like Kobe was and I don't remember Kobe not putting them up whenever he was in a slump.

DM bounces back to beat BOS on 28-3-6-3-1 line. 21 shots to get 28 points. This is what we saw from him last year... and the opposing SG (Brown) scores 3 points on 1-9 shooting.

Is it me, or is J-Brown off to a slow start?

The Markelle Fultz drama is taking a turn for the even weirder, this time with a legal angle.

The 76ers? bewildering point guard, whose jump shot disappeared upon entering the NBA, will see a shoulder specialist next week, The Athletic first reported. His attorney and agent, Raymond Brothers, is urging this checkup, and the 20-year-old won?t play in games or practice until being evaluated.

It is unclear why Brothers ? and not Fultz or the 76ers ? is pulling the strings for this doctor visit. But it makes its own bit of sense, considering how bizarre this saga has been. Fultz recently split from shooting coach and confidant Drew Hanlen.

Fultz was the No. 1 overall pick out of Washington in 2017, but he started play with an awkward, ineffective shot that he and the team blamed on a shoulder injury. He was shut down after just four games last season to recuperate and returned late in the season, his shot still with a hitch.

This year, the quick, 6-foot-4 guard has been on the court but largely ineffective, his shot still off in averaging 8.2 points in 19 minutes per game. He?s taken just 14 3s ? and made four of them.

Last week came a viral, humiliating moment for Fultz, who double-clutched on a foul shot. For other shooters, it would be a method to draw rebounders into the lane early, but for Fultz, it was the height of the problem.

???-

Just think how excited Embiid was, sitting on the dais, when Philly somehow, miraculously ?won? they lottery.

Trust the Process? Lol. Okafar and Fultz is how an org goes bust.

If the kid keeps this up he's going to go down as the biggest bust in the annals of NBA history. Who wants the stigma of that, instead of him consulting a specialist for his shoulder he should be looking for a psychologist because he's a basket case.

The Athletic reporting Fultz wants to be traded for a new start but his agent says not true. Fultz probably sees the handwriting on the wall when Brown goes to McConnell as the first PG off the bench but he doesn't have the trade value to get a 1st round pick the Sixers would want for him in a trade.

Like you more or less said, the GM who gives a 1st round pick to get Fultz should expect to get fired the next day. Fultz has no trade value unless somehow Isiah Thomas gets a front office job again.
