Ball had it going on, as the rook beats Doncic and the Mavs.

Suddenly, Mavs are 1-3. Imagine if...?

Imagine things just work out well for the Knicks, finally. Mavs finish 27-45, hit lottery gold. NYK find themselves with 2 top 15 picks in this epic draft coming up in 2021!

Thibbs has the ship sailing in the right direction...

Imagine if...
Love it, KP is practicing so his return is imminent, lets see if the Mavs continue their losing ways when he returns.

Obi most NBA ready prospect? Still buy that crap. Yeah, he?s old... but, obviously, not the most ready...

I would feel a lot better with IQ and Halliburton future:

TYRESE HALIBURTON
PG, SACRAMENTO KINGS

Tyrese Haliburton started the second half for an injured De'Aaron Fox (hamstring tightness) and went nuts in the fourth quarter, scoring 15 points with a key block, a huge steal and a dagger 3-pointer in the Kings 128-124 win over the Bulls on Wednesday.

Haliburton finished with a career-high 17 points on 7-of-15 shooting and three 3-pointers with seven rebounds, six assists, three steals and a block. The block was against Coby White's late 3-pointer, who had a career-high 36 points, he deflected an inbounds pass with the game on the line and his corner three won the game for the Kings. Haliburton already looks like one of the best players on the team and he's going to challenge guys like James Wiseman and LaMelo Ball for Rookie of the Year

It?s early... but it looks like we missed another gem...

Tyrese Haliburton scored 15 points and dished a career-high eight assists during Friday's loss, making 5-of-10 shots with all of his makes coming behind the arc.

He filled out his line with two boar2ds, two steals, one block and just one turnover in 29 minutes. The Kings are a bit of a mess, with off-court drama involving two of their best players, but Haliburton radiates promise for the franchise. He fell in the draft to No. 12 and plenty of teams are regretting passing on him, as he's already an assured presence and the team's second-best playmaker. He came in averaging 4.7 dimes vs. 0.7 turnovers, remarkable for a rookie, and he's shown elite efficiency from every level as a scorer. He shines brightest in 9-cat but is a fantasy star in the making regardless of league settings.

I?ve watched this kid 3 games now... He is good. Looks like Alan Houston. Smooth and crafty and does everything well. He is definitely NBA ready...

I guess I feel like this is a bit premature. He?s getting 28 minutes per game and averaging 12 points and 5 assists per game so far. It?s just like with Quickley where he played a couple strong 4th quarters and suddenly he?s a star.

Toppin never plays so I guess compared to anyone in the draft he?s not going to compare well.

I?m not saying he?s a star... just saying that I?ve watched 3 SAC games so far. He is like a young Tatum. He just looks the part, like IQ. When he?s in the court, you notice. He tips balls, he?s communicating and involved, he can score at all levels, plays defense and rebounds and sets up teammates.

It?s only a few games... but he?s one of SAC?s best players right now.

Nets make huge trade for James Harden. Trade away Jarrett Allen, Caris LeVert, and a whole lot of 1st round picks. Insane.

We heard about it with the Lakers, and it was echoed with Brooklyn.... how assembling some young talent is attractive to the Super Max titans. Yeah, right!

Sure, it brings in the free agent(s), but ultimately what always happens to all those young players? They morph into assets and get dealt for other Super Max Titans.

DAL lost at home to CHI. How about White and Lavine backcourt!

Imagine how the perception of the KP deal
Changes if... DAL ends up in lottery, ala Pelicans when they leapt up and stole
Zion. So, imagine if Mavs have a disappointing season and don?t make the playoffs and then end up giving NYK a top 10 pick... or... imagine if it?s a top 3 pick, in this draft class. Suddenly, the Mavs will take the heat....

Tons of print is dedicated to RJ?s shooting woes....

? Zion Williamson shot 14-of-19 from the field and 4-of-6 from the foul line in Tuesday?s loss to the Jazz, finishing with 32 points, five rebounds, three assists and one steal in 35 minutes.
Purely a paint and free throw scorer, Williamson made a field goal outside of the paint for the first time this season...?

Gotta love that DAL pick! Come on!

Meanwhile...from Rotoworld

Tyrese Haliburton dished out a career-high 11 assists for his first double-double, adding 10 points, six rebounds, one steal, one block and one triple in 33 minutes.

This rookie is the real deal. He had the highlight of the night with a "hesi" dunk (link below) and then drained a clutch triple with 44 seconds to play to help the Kings win their third straight. He has the look of a future star.

Haliburton definitely being selectively graded. He missed his first 6 shots from 3. The 3 he hit made the game 120 - 116. It wasn?t a game winner or even a go ahead shot. Final score of game was 126 - 124, so it wasn?t even the shot that sealed the game.

Haliburton finished game 1 for 7 from 3. He had 10 points in 33 minutes. Hype machine definitely in full effect with this kid to make him seem a bigger deal than he is actually. He still projects as a role player, not a star.

Quickley >> Haliburton so far.

A rookie, who is inconsistent but able to be on the court to close a game? With Fox, Heild too ... And make impactful plays in those moments to contribute to winning? Nothing wrong with that. It?s passing the eye test, while flashing spurts of wowness

Halliburton + IQ >>>> Obi + IQ

Let?s hope Thibbs starts expanding Toppin?s role and gives him a chance to give the team 25 minutes.

KP blah tonight. BB outshines the unicorn. Mavs second worst record in WC. Oh, please let it happen...
