Game Thread: New York Knicks @ Los Angeles Clippers 10:30pm 3/11/2016

Clips come back with 5 pts take the lead back, KP scores and its 89-86 Clips.

59 combined points on greater than 50% shooting from the floor. This game shows you how much our starting frontcourt has to do to compete with a good team when paired with our NBA worst backcourt rotation.

We TIED the game with 6 minute left in game then Clippers go on 0-5 run in less than a minute .. Lopez step up to bring us within 1 with 4 minute in crunch-time

Clippers have been raining three pointers tonight. Says something even more about our frontcourt effort that we have stayed in this game despite the huge 3-pointer difference in the Clippers favor.

Twice in the last couple minutes Porzingis has made nice drives to the basket and not been able to hit the lay-ups. In both cases, if you are a Knicks fan, you want him to have gotten the foul calls, but in both cases refs opt for no-calls.

KP missed 3 buckets close in that might have sealed the game for the Knicks. Work on that post game young fellow.

Balmer may be the richest owner in the NBA, but man, he is also the NBA's doofiest goofball. Nothing personal against the guy though. He seems to love his basketball.

Porzingis looks furious with himself after another missed shot at close range. He has played a great game, but missed some huge shots here late in the 4th quarter.

Yeah, seriously, the last thing we need is to transition to a new era of having a star player who also can't hit clutch shots.

Robin Lopez has played 45 minutes tonight. Fun fact just said is that the last Knick to play 48 minutes was Jared Jeffries. Jeffries was a putrid offensive player, but every once in a while, I reflect on just how good he was as a hustle and defensive player despite all the criticism he took.

Jordan seals the game with a couple blocks on our last 2 possessions. We lose our 8th straight against the Clippers.

People will spend a lot of time critiquing our starting frontcourt in this game, but the conversation for why we are as bad as we are starts and ends with our NBA worst backcourt rotation.

NYK 4-20 from downtown. Rambis pulls Williams and there went the offense... I don't even think Melo attempted a shot the final 8 minutes...

Was it Cslderon that threw ball away when KP was wide open for an alley oop?

We are down 2 possessions yet Rambis draws up a play for 2 points. Classic

Rolo was great. He competes, seems to have his best games against the better 5s like DJ and Drum. Lakers are next.

Melo 0-4 final 8 minutes... KP missed a dunk and 4 layups. We're not in the game without those two... But nobody has faith in these 2 when game is hanging up there for grabs final 8 minutes of the 4th quarter. It's just a given...

You need guards. Guards get foul calls and they can make things happen. Melo and KP fouled on 3 different possessions final few minutes. How they call a foul on JC but not those is a headscratcher.

The difference may have been #kporzee disaster performance at the rim tonight. Gosh I hate SOFF playing big men
