Kobe basically told all of us to STFU!

By now everyone has probably seen the interview or read the report where Kobe said Phil knows more about basketball than all of NY Knicks fans put together. Despite this, the real point of his words is that we need to trust Phil and give him time to properly construct the team. Don't know how I feel about this. Not ready to pull the plug just yet, but certainly bringing on a new coach will take the team in an entirely different direction. Ideally Phil should commit to coaching that would be a great selling point for top tier talent.

Unfortunately, Kobe was talking about PJ the coach and not PJ the GM and president. He's been hit and miss as a GM, the good getting KP and Rolo but so-so on anything else he's done.

Even with the great 2nd half Rolo has had he's only performing at his career averages in points and rebounds because of a s**tty first half. Next season lets see if he can sustain a full season of what he's done since Jan.
