Game Thread: New York Knicks vs Chicago Bulls 7:30pm 3/240/2016

If we can prevent the Bulls from going berserk from 3 in the 4th quarter again, no reason we can't close this one out. Up 14 with less than 8 minutes to go.

Good win the Bulls are a good team, they just won 3 in a row before they faced NY. The Knicks are just playing good ball these 2 games with KP coming out of his mini slump.

Team win with 5 guys scoring in double figures. Go Knicks.

These 2 wins just reinforce the notion that this squad underachieved badly this season. They EASILY should've been a 5-8 seed and battled somebody in the first round (possibly even getting to a game 6 in the second round.

They have been up and down all season. Would it surprise anyone if they start losing again, we matched up well with the Bulls let's see if they can keep this up.

That Bulls defense was crap, any time Calderon can start his dribble from the FT line, circle around a screen and get a layup you have defensive problems. Add to it 2 days where the Knicks were lights out from beyond the arc.

No Quinn tonight, though Seraphin has played well . Haven't figured out when each will play with Rambis or DFish.

Not lettin Quinn Seraphin Rolo n KP Gell in a rotation for 1 or 2 games .. gave us a small-ball rotation team throughout the 2015-16 season .. especially having Rolo on the bench more than on the court this season .. Fisher/Rambis grade is a losing record in NY

We got to 30 wins. Two more to beat the preseason Vegas Odds. Yes!

Great intensity shown by the Knicks in these last couple of games, but where was this level of play against the lethargic Sacramento Kings the other day? Sometimes it's difficult to believe that this team holds the record that they do with the fact that they have shown flashes of playoff grittiness throughout the year.

Two wins against one team who we matched up well against because they're small in the FC. We killed them on the boards both games, let's see what they do when they play teams that are bigger up front before thinking they've solved their problems.

Berman wrote an article today about some of the changes Rambis has put in like having AA coming off the bench to give the second unit more punch. Also saying he's got KP going to the basket instead of floating around the perimeter resulting in double/doubles the last 2 games. If Rambis keeps the team on this trajectory he'll wind up as the head coach next season, something that the majority of fans don't want

Completely agree. We lost 3 games straight prior to playing the Bulls in this successful back-to-back. This was the first time in 30 games or so we won 2 straight games. I'm cautiously optimistic we can finish the season on a positive note, but I'll believe it when I see it. This definitely should not be our roster and head coach to start next season if we hope to be at least a 0.500 team.

If Phil Jackson wants to earn much more respect from people the only option that he has is to trade Carmelo Anthony and Robin Lopez, give Rambis a multi-year contract and demand that the team tank for the next couple of seasons.
