I'm praying he does! I think he's better than Baker.

Randle with a great game against the Nets 14 points, two rebounds, two assists, and three steals in 21 minutes. Melo raved about the kid and I have to agree, he's a keeper.
Randle simply MUST make the team. He'd be a good 3rd PG for this team.
i agree with Kiyaman. Randle must make the team as 3rd PG. He's a great shooter with a sweet arc, can also be excellent shooting guard. good ball-handling skills, good D, not great, but he does get steals. his head is always in the game, smart player, coming from stellar, 4-year, top-scorer all time at Stanford, where they use the triangle. Melo loves him. Clyde Frazier loves him.
Knicks have plenty of depth at center, do they really need Lou? Billy, Plumlee and Porzingis can back up Joking Noah no problem, but with such little depth at PG, Rose/Jennings both coming off injuries, who else on the current squad fills the Knicks glaring need better than Randle? Baker? no. Tokoto? haha. it's a no-brainer.
On the low risk/high reward mentality that PJ took on previously injured players, Randle has the skills that could turn him into a star player, maybe even better than Galloway. i think his shot and ball-handling are better.
Chasson the Dream in the Garden of Dreams. Do it Phil, sign the man.

Randle been the bright side of the Knicks Summer League Games
NEW YORK (AP) -- Chasson Randle, trying to make the New York Knicks' roster as a backup guard, is expected to miss at least three weeks with a broken orbital bone around his left eye.
Randle was hurt Friday during practice and a CT scan Saturday revealed the extent of the injury. The Knicks say he saw a specialist on Monday who determined that surgery would not be necessary and that Randle could resume full activities in three to four weeks.
The undrafted rookie from Stanford has taken advantage of extra playing time available during Derrick Rose's absence for his rape trial. Randle has averaged 7.7 points in three preseason games, making nearly 56 percent of his 3-point attempts

He (Randle) remains a free agent though and can sign with any other NBA team he wants to

yeah i wouldn't be surprised if he gets picked up by someone else. i am not at all savvy with the rules of D-league. how long do the knicks have to maybe cut someone else from their roster, like they did with amundson, so they can bring randle up? anyone know what his health status is, and if he'll be able to suit up for westchester's first game?
I think they said 2-4 weeks for it to heal enough to be fitted with a mask. He was injured on Oct. 20 IIRC so I doubt he makes the first game on Nov. 12, masks are tricky, some guys aren't comfortable wearing them and take a while to get adjusted or have to go through several models to find one that's comfortable. I would think a realistic date for him to make his Westchester debut would be early Dec.
I doubt he gets picked up with the injury, its the regular season and teams will be looking for immediate help and the Dec. 15 deadline for trading guys that signed deals this summer would only be a couple of weeks from when Randle returns. I think his best option is Europe if he's looking to make a paycheck but I think the Knicks can persuade him to stay.
Scored 25 points on 7-16 shooting (1-6 from beyond the arc) and 10-10 from the free-throw line.
9-11 from three?
Randle, obliterated the Texas Legends in a 132-124 W-Knicks victory, dropping 38 points, 9-11 from three.
I'm not expecting Randle to do what he did in the NBA but I would like to have a PG that is a threat from 3pt range to make opponents guards come out on the perimeter to defend him.
I'm curious to see Randle alongside the talent we have on our team. He's more of a scorer than passer but that's no different than our other guards.
