Knicks point guard Brandon Jennings apparently believes differently than Carmelo Anthony regarding critiques that too much one-on-one play existed in their 119-114 loss to Boston on Christmas.

Jennings signaled the rips were merited. After the Knicks mustered only 11 assists Sunday, Jennings liked a tweet from the Bullyup.com Twitter handle criticizing their style: ?KNICKS Rely way too much on a jumpshot, they need to move the [ball].?
Jennings was nowhere to be found in the locker room Sunday after the loss. He notched two assists, one game after posting 12 against Orlando.

Anthony said the Knicks are good in their current style because it?s important for him, Kristaps Porzingis and Derrick Rose to be able to showcase matchups. Rose collected 25 points with just three assists.

Jennings made a great point .. in the previous game vs Magics, Jennings were able to give out 12 dimes for a Knicks win by leading the point of a all bench lineup (Quinn/Willy/Kuz/Holiday/Jennings) on the court for 22 minute playing-time.

Rose n Melo controlling the point throughout the 48 minute Christmas game lead the Knicks to a loss that was visible to the eye by looking at the Celtrics 25 assist compared to the Knicks 11 assist.

What Jennings is saying is what coach Hornacek wants to see from his team. Maybe Melo doesn't like to move much with out the ball in his hands as he's getting older.

But since he's the Star of his team , he dictates to the coaches what he wants to do.

All coach can do is take his minutes away, he can't change how he plays for long periods of time.

Passing the ball ain't the problem, defense is. You aren't going to win many games when you allow teams to score 110 pts on you. Knicks have fallen back into their early defensive woes after getting to the middle of the pack defensively they are now back to 25th in points allowed and are -2.3 in point differential. Knicks are lucky to be over .500 with a negative point differential.

Horn needs to shake up that defense, maybe you fire Rambis and find another defensive coach or put Holiday in the starting unit and move CLee to the second unit. Moving CLee to the second unit may allow him to get more shots and the Knicks can take advantage of that 40% 3 pt shooting percentage. I always wondered why a guy like CLee could never carve out a starting job with any of the teams he was on and maybe it's because he has more of an impact as a 2nd unit guy than as a starter.

Passing are the Knicks biggest problem with 3 of our starters that receive the most playing time minute per game on the team. Plus those same 3 starters are always running isolation plays and they are the invisible trio on the defensive-end, especially when they have to go around or run threw a screen or pick they become a liability on defense .. all our opponents are scoring 50 or more points from inside scoring.
There hasnt been anything wrong with Noah or Lee other than being upset at the start of the season for signing on to the Knicks to be in a starter/finish lineup with Rose/Melo/KP poor team-defense and isolation offense .. Noah and Lee dont look to score they look to pass the ball to be a part of a moving offense.
But that's impossible when 3 of the teammates in the lineup ALWAYS want to play isolation-b-ball.
Its just like Playa2 mention "since Melo's the Star of this team, Melo dictates to the coaches what he wants to do.". Coach Horn does not have enough coaching experience to dictate what he wants from a $25M per Melo, $20M per Rose, and Phil Jackson future Knicks star KP.
