R.I.P., John Andariese aka "Johnny Hoops"

They mentioned recently he was sick. Sad. I love him. Great look, great voice. I used to want him to be on TV a lot when I started watching basketball regularly in 2008-2009. Has such an old school yet timeless feel. R.I.P.

Lots of good memories from games called by John Andariese. He was a major element of broadcasting for this franchise for a long time.

For some reason I thought he played for the Knicks and thought that's how he got his job. He never did, never even played in the NBA, just played at Fordham. RIP John.
