He had 10 dimes in the 1st qtr against the Wiz and he was actually making shots. Bjelica has been good as well. I hope they make the playoffs but they dug a hole with that poor start.
He's only 25... Since the All-Star break, Rubio is averaging 14 points, 11 assists, and five rebounds per game. Most importantly, he’s shooting 45 percent from the floor and 39 percent from behind the arc over that stretch... lol.
NYK could've had RR for DR but now will have nada in a few months. RR, like Lowry, will elevate his game to borderline all star numbers now that we passed on trading for him.
Do the Knicks need a PG-Rubio? Lets see ....
KAT been playing at a All-Star level of B.ball the past two seasons, Lavine n Wiggins B.ball IQ has improve tremendously on both sides of the court in the past two season under coach Thibs
...Why has the Timberwolves been a .400 team the past two season when 3 players performance has been improving game after game? The answer lies in the player the Wolves had on the trade block at the February deadline .. Rubio .. the Wolves are looking for a PG that at least show some competitiveness vs Western opponent guards like ....
Westbrook/Curry/Klay/Harding/Lillard/McCollum/ Conley/ CP3 .. all these guards outplayed Rubio by 2-1 in the season.
The Wolves are looking to improve at the PG spot having Rubio as bait to build a future ??/KAT/Wiggins/Lavine/?? lineup.
The reason the D.Rose n Rubio trade did not take place were Wolves coach Thibs know PG-Rubio playmaking are strictly team-ball to improve teammates performance when compared to PG-D.Rose shoot-first isolation-ball will not improve teammates performance especially young KAT/Wiggins/Lavine
