New York Knicks owner James Dolan heads one of the most dysfunctional franchises in all of professional sports, but he insists he isn?t meddling in basketball affairs.

Music, eh? Curious minds would love to know more about that. But we digress.
Given the current direction of the team (it?s all bad), maybe Dolan should get involved again ? sort of kidding. He has been more of a hands-on owner in the past, but since hiring Phil Jackson he says stepped away from any of that.
Though, since Dolan took over, it?s pretty much been all downhill. In the 16 seasons he?s owned the team, New York has made the playoffs just four times. Since Dolan hired Jackson to make all the decisions, the Knicks haven?t made the playoffs once.
Worse still, they appear to actually be getting worse as they chase Cleveland in the east, and Jackson has alienated his best players.

Hiring PJ was like the US electing Trump. Both guys not qualified to do their job but at least PJ is not a blowhard saying he's the greatest President this country has ever had.

Didn't she rep the Bucks in one of their drafts, thinking it might the first year her dad bought the club.

Knicks are the least likely team to be sold, she should know that with the ownership structure of the Knicks being owned by MSG which is a publicly traded company. If she wants to buy a club, I think the Nets are for still up for sale and the Rockets are on the market.

Golden State Warriors star F Kevin Durant continues to take jabs at the Knicks -- this time aiming at owner James Dolan.

In an interview with The Ringer's Bill Simmons, Durant believes the Knicks have plummeted because of how Dolan disregards basketball decisions.

"Everything starts at the top, you have bad leadership, and it's just going to trickle down to everybody else," Durant said. "When a GM wants to make a decision, he has to talk to the owner and he's nowhere to be found and he don't care then you kind of stuck and that causes tension."

However, Durant does like the atmosphere that Madison Square Garden provides.

"Madison Square that s--t is so live in there and you just know it's the Mecca. I don't think they should ever change that," Durant said. His favorite aspect of the arena is the "old-school buzzer" the Knicks use.

This offseason, Durant has been verbal about the Knicks. He told a fan during a charity event that he would "never" play for the team.

Last year with the Warriors, he averaged 25.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists during a season that saw him take home his first NBA title. The forward could become a free agent after this season if he opts out of his current contract with Golden State.
