Gotta give Horn credit. He took an easy win and somehow coached his team into OT. He sat still and watched his second unit get toasted by NO?s first team. The thought to help his backups with a starter never crossed his mind.
Then, NYK had about 4 possessions the final 90 seconds and coach couldn?t devise a single play call to get anybody even what might resemble a halfway decent look.
He also sits and watched as Jack and Lee, once again, do absolutely nothing down the stretch. Lee?s lackadaisical defense gave NO a huge bucket.
It was such a bad coaching job, it makes you wonder if he?s trying to lose game (tank) on purpose.
I?m not even sure Lee or Jack know that NBA rules allow them to pass the final 5 minutes of a game.

Yeah, Hornacek has Noah, WHG, Baker, and Burke all as DNPs but plays KP the entire 3rd quarter setting up the Pelicans big 4th quarter comeback. Sick of Hornacek.

Horn?s play was to throw the ball to Jack, moving away from the basket towards halfcourt. Lol. Like even if Jack catches ball.... what?s he going to do with it?
Bicycle kick from mid court would have been his only option.

You can?t win in NBA with the guards we have. When it gets to crunch time, there?s only THjr who can create, and he?s not gonna set up others. Bottom line, we don?t have a G who can get KP a decent look.
THJ found KP, freed by a nice Kanter screen, for a decent look but the 3-pointer rims out. Knicks about to lose after blowing a big 4th quarter lead.
Alright, I?m beaten down. Another bad loss. We?re about to go on a 7 game road streak, even if the 1st half of it is against teams with bad records, this is bad.

What a shocker.... KP misses the 3 to tie it. Team blows a 20 point wire to wire win down the stretch. Now they play 7 straight road games.... 4-16 in the road.... 2-10 last 12 games.
Season is over folks. Anybody else in the lottery train yet? Don?t even want to hear fans getting excited if we win in BKLN tomorrow, which we won?t.

Knicks led by 19 with 12 left.... but Horn went with Frank, Lee, Thomas, KOQ, Beasley against Cousins, AD and Holliday and Pelicans quickly got back in it....
Starters returned and were ice cold and No ran right by them. Jack, who was 9-10 shooting, missed all 4 shots. Lee and Jack didn?t have an assist. KP made 1 bucket in 4th and OT. He was 1-7 and is now 1 or 2 for 14 in the fourth quarter the last 4 games.
Folks, we are alive again for a top 5 pick. Another Jan collapse means we can start dreaming about lottery ping pong balls.
