Game Thread: New York Knicks @ Denver Nuggets 9:00 1/25/2018 [Game #49]

Denver has scored 58 points in less than 18 minutes. What are they going to do, hang 150 on us tonight?

Nits blows an easy layup. I imagine that shot will start going in when he improves.

This game will be the season high for most points allowed by the Knicks with Denver scoring 69 with 3 minutes left. TOR was the previous high at 69.

Knits blows the layup AND his man, Harris, knocks down 2 3s and a long 2 right in his face (all 3 were swish... no rim).

KP has 6 points.... Wilson Chandler has 10. The MVP caliber player we saw in NOV is long gone. KP not even playing like an All-Star last month. A complete non-factor.

Once again NY turns ball over after a timeout. So sick of Horn now. He?s worthless. Can?t even draw up a play for 2 points.

Plumlee blocks a KP dunk.... Denver 9-11 from downtown. Shooting 68% from the field and lead by 18 with 2 to go before the half.

Still can?t believe KP wimped our and wouldn?t face GSW.... had all that rest for today...

KP just missed a 1handed alley-oop slam.... KP is 3-10 today. Nobody confuses Plumlee with Hakeem or Ewing but he?s eating KP for dinner tonight.

Denver now 10-12 from 3.

Finally a PG that takes it to the hole and gets FTs. Trey has a golden opportunity here, that starting PG position can be his if he can play well.

Knicks allow 73 points in the 1st half. We are well on our way to rock bottom. Hornacek is lucky this franchise doesn?t seem to want to win. He?ll get to finish the season when any other team would have shown him the door by now.

2 years in a row now the team got punched in Jan, losing a bunch of close game, then folded like a satin sheet. This worries me...

It?s the main reason I jumped on the tank early.... signs were obvious we had no chance making the playoffs. And, if you ain?t gonna make the playoffs.... then might as well crash and burn.

Knicks have to get a PG. I said it in 2007... Moment Walsh-Dantoni arrived. 10 years later and we?ve had awful PG play for 9/10 years (with a slight reprieve watching a 40-yr-d HOF Kidd in 2012). We won?t be competitive until we get a decent PG.

KP never gets homecourt calls. Jokic getting the home court cooking from refs. If a player comes near him on either end of the floor a whistle immediately blows.

Beas should be making Hardaway money. I said he was the best signing out of DWill and AA. He's ahead of Doug in guys Perry might bring back.

His shooting mechanics are all shot to hell. A real coaching staff, would, y?know, work on that in practice.

Last win in DEN for NY came in 2006. Geez.... we?ve sucked now for almost 2 decades.
