Make that 15 FT attempts for WAS in a 2 minute span. Ref whistles turns 92-88 game into 102-88. Are the refs on team tank too?

39 FT attempts for WAS
16 FT attempts for NYK

They were the more aggressive team, maybe Kanter/Burke could've shot an extra free throw or two but really it came down to turning the ball over to Trier in the 4th and Wiz taking control with Wall an Beal

In all of our victories we've shot more free throws than the opponent...shot 13 more than the Hawks our first game. We average about 21FTA/gm(about what we shot tonight).

Probably has a lot to do with how we play and very little to do with refs. The data and tape proves it

Another Knicks puppet-coach small-ball experiment in the 2nd half of the game .. The Knicks are 0-161 using this 2nd half experiment the past 4 seasons !!!

Then you have the Sixers on the road losing by 25 to the Motley Crue Nets...

Sixers 41 FTA
Nets 18 FTA

I'm sure Nets fans are PISSED. Chucked bottles of water and poured out the beer in their plastic cups on them as they left the arena

Lets see .. we gave Vonleh 10 min, Kanter 24 min, and MitchRob 26 min
The Wizards gave Howard 30+ min, Morris 30+ min, and Green 27 min

Did Mudiay deserve to play 24 minute against Wall & Beal ???

Fizdale gave the 1-7 Wizards the win tonight .. or should i say "Dolan's puppet coach gave the win to the Wizards! ".

Mudiay wasn't the issue(+2 tonight) besides being a usual offensive liability at times, defensively and running the offense he was good. The problem was playing THJR(broke back) and Thomas the minutes they played. THJR should've been scratched and then you can give more minutes to maybe Vonleh and Robinson

Regardless of how a team plays, it?s gonna be tough to win on the road with that sort of FT disparity. It happens too much in the NBA, especially when refs stir up the home cooking....

Obviously, it?s not just a NYK issue...

But, with 5:36 to play in the 4th... the score was 92-88... when a bogus call gave WAS 3 FTs. If anything, the foul was on the WAS player setting the pick (he tripped the Knicks player).

So, again, regrdless of ?style?... how does a non-called kick on the offense (that results in a trip) end up a shooting foul against the defense? Just a bad call..

Then, with 3:40 to play WAS is shooting their 14th FT in 2 minutes.

You?ll watch a lot of games before you?ll see another 14-0 FT disparity in a given 2 minute stretch... you?ll wait even longer before you see this occur in the final 6 minutes of a close contest.

It?s not why we lost... just thought it was worth pointing out.

Mudiay was the issue, this was Mudiay 2nd game of the season vs a 5 year experience backcourt of Wall & Beal .. why would Fiz experiment by giving Mudiay 24 minute when Fiz just change 3 players in the starter lineup to get 2 wins out of 3 games .. Fiz took Burke Kanter and LT out of the starter lineup and put the 3 players in the 2nd unit lineup 3 games ago, which made the 3 players start to get their act together as a trio in a lineup game after game by coming off the bench to give the bench 66 points in our last game. Its o.k to give Mudiay a few minute in the first half of the game, butt the 2nd half of the game and the 4th quarter the rotation should have been decrease to 9 players: Kanter, MitchRob, Vonleh, Mario, Dotson, Trier, Timmy, Burke, and Frank.
Fizdale rotation lineups tonight were awful .. Fizdale putting Mudiay in the 2nd half of the game rotation tonight shows that Fizdale did not trust any of the previous lineup he used in the last 9 games. That's a ISSUE !!!

What is wrong with Volneh the past two games, not only the fouls, but he used to be much better defensively and offensively..........

I am starting to lose faith in Frank, the problem not in his physical ability, it is his mental one that is weak....

It's not Frank, its not Burke .. Its our Dolan's Puppet coach not sticking to the same lineup!
If we had loss because Fiz went with the same starter lineup, and the same 2nd unit lineup he had in the past 4 games, then i could blame the players for not co-existing in the same lineup.

I dont have a problem with Fizdale experimenting on lineups in the first half of a game .. butt the 2nd half of the game especially the 4th quarter rotation in the final 8 minute of the game there should be NO experimenting!

Recall .. The Starter lineup Fizdale put on the court at the start of the season (Burke Timmy Frank LT Kanter) never played as a lineup in any of the preseason games SMFH
Fizdale change that starter-lineup after 5 games into the season .. the new starter lineup of Frank, Timmy, Dotson, Vonleh, and MitchRob has just played their 5th game as starters vs the Wizards last night in a Knick loss .. are Fizdale gonna change the starter lineup again?
Both of Fizdale starter lineup should have been giving 6 to 8 straight minute of playing time in 3 quarter of each of the 5 games played to improve their co-existence as a starter lineup .. Fizdale did not give any of the starter lineup enough playing time to make mistakes and correct their mistake as a team.

In the last 4 games our rookie scorer Trier has been co-existing well in the new bench lineup of Kanter, LT, Mario, and Burke .. the new 2nd unit bench lineup made mistakes like any new lineup does, they also been making up for their mistakes in the next game (even LT).
Last night game vs the Wizards the Knick starters Vonleh received 10 minute of playingtime, Frank received 23 minute of playing time, MitchRob received 27 minute of playingtime WTF those trio of players happen to be the Knicks best defensive players on the roster, and the other Knicks best defensive player happen to be LT who received 8 minute of playing time in the game. Having 8 minutes left in the 3rd qtr. the score 60-64 Wizards lead, coach Fizdale puts Mudiay in the game and takes Frank out of the game after Frank just scored consecutively on the offensive end. Two minute after taking Frank out the game the Wizard lead goes to 60-72.
In the 4th qtr. when Burke tied the score at 82 having 9 minute left in the game .. The Wizards had a 4th qtr. lineup of Howard Morris Green Beal Wall on the court .. coach Fizdale did not give Vonleh or LT any 4th qtr. playingtime! WTF! Fizdale let Kanter play 7 minute into the 4th qtr. before replacing him with MitchRob with 5 min left in the game and the score 88-94 .. Fizdale 5 minute cruch-time lineup included MitchRob Timmy Frank Dotson and Trier equaling a Small-Ball lineup vs Howard Morris Green WTF !!!
This is what happens when a puppet-coach start experimenting lineups in the 2nd half of the Game and in crunch-time minutes !!!

I commend your tough stance on Fizdale, Kiya. TBH after games like these it should make all us Knick fans question the motives of the coach.

At the same time, it's his first year here so I feel like we should give him the benefit of the doubt.
The best thing he's doing is giving the young players a chance to blossom, instead of just putting the veterans in for most of the game and wasting a rebuilding year on them.

Lets give him a year and then judge him on everything he's done.
