Knicks lob it to Vonleh near half court.... ISO Noah not the best call. Harden strips him and slams down 61 to tie Kobe for most points vs NYK since 1968.

You couldn’t draw up a worse play, even if you called a random fan out of the mezzanine level and let him go isO.

Great call if you’re on team tank.
Vonleh should have not put it on the deck with the pressure he was under even though he's got a good handle for a big man. Still can't blame him for a loss on that TO because we were down 2 pts on that last play.

Harden 5-20 from downtown.
Still shot 17-38 and went to the charity stripe 25 times, I enjoyed watching him. He would have have had 90 like you said if he was hitting his long ball, he did a lot of other things besides scoring the ball, 5 steals 15 RBs. Great game by him and a career high 61 for him and tying an MSG scoring record for an opponent set by Kobe.

James Harden finished with 61 points and 15 rebounds against the Knicks.

- Tied for the most points by a visitor at the current MSG
- 1st player with 60 points and 15 rebounds in a game since Shaq in 2000
- 1st player in NBA history to attempt 20 threes and 20 free throws pic.twitter.com/p2bW6DLA1D

He?s a special talent. If only we lost a few extra games and ended up with Westbrook or Harden and Curry. Those 2 drafts, along with 1987 draft, is what prevented Knicks from about 7 NBA titles.

Dantoni needed his showman, ball-dominating scorer... He needed his conductor maestro. Nash... now Harden. Too bad old fudgy fart Donnie Walsh (no offense, for my godfather played with DW, and Larry Brown, and Doug Moe at UNC (1960). He?s the kid from Rye, NY)... too bad Wash didn?t have the smarts to tank for Dant?s PG. Only a few HOF guys available those 1st 2 years... we walked away with Gallo and Hill.

Harden busted my bracket at AZ, he broke up OKC (Curse of SEA), and barfed when HOU was poised to dethrone GSW. I have beef with him, but only for those heart aches. Knicks provide plenty enough of that.

THJ arguing with Trier. Kanter getting frozen out of the rotation. Possibly worst Knicks team in franchise history and there still are 3 other teams with more losses than us. Anyone who likes this front office and this coach is seeing something that I?m not.

Kanter is pissed, first time in his NBA career hes been benched after being told he would start for Kornet. Said in an old game thread that the Knicks direction was set to play the young guys and either trade or buy out Kanter. Looks like that's where we're headed, more likely a buyout for him and not a trade.

Those are the numbers that an 8th pick should have at least once in 2 years Mr. Ntilikina. Zero pts tonight.

No! Those are the numbers of a scoring-guard (ISO-Zo!) ...Phil selected Frank in the draft to be a ball-mover and add stops on the defensive-end of the court for reason of the Knicks poor defense in the previous season having three Knick starters that didn't participate on the defensive-end of the court .. u know their names .. D.Rose Melo and Tired-KP !!!

The Knick lineup of Frank Dotson Trier Knox and MitchRob tonite would have won this game against the Rockets .. Knox is the weak-link in the lineup because he dont keep the ball moving, he dont know how to box-out in the paint, nor screen on the perimeter, nor pass the ball to a teammate. Both Knox and Vonleh are bigmen and not supposed to dribble and shoot the ball on EVERY TOUCH !!!

Frank Ntilikina must hit shots at some point if he?s to become a primary ball handler. He has to understand when he needs to take control of a possession and try to create. He has to improve as a consistent scoring threat otherwise he will limit his own potential.
What he did do is have a very tangible and real defensive impact in his 24 minutes on the floor. He has had a good run of late taking care of the ball and creating for others, and the Knicks have generally looked more fluid offensively in his stints on the floor. Last night, his defense on Harden was excellent, holding him to nine points on 1-6 shooting, and forcing him into four turnovers with zero assists on 18 total possessions.

Throughout the first half of the Knick season it has showed clearly that the inexperience coach Fizdale has showed no interest in developing the 2nd season PG Frank, nor PG Trey Burke in the fundamentals of steady ball-movement to the teammates that move without the ball. The Knicks 48 minute isolation-offense had Knicks teammates standing around on offense during the Nov./Dec./and now January games, there's little to no ball movement or PLAN-plays seen in the Knicks 48 minute performance.
Frank and Burke minute on the court has been decreasing throughout the first half of the season from 28 minute in November to now 16 minute per game in January.
Throughout the December games we no longer seen Frank or Burke perform above 5 minute in a quarter to develop their skills on offense/defense with teammates. There is NO-Development within Fizdale's coaching for any Knick player.
The young 19 yr old rookie Knox, has not learn how to pass the ball to create a play for a teammate to score.
Under Fizdale coaching Knox has gain the habit of shooting the ball 9 out of every 10 touches.
