Default Game thread: New York Knicks vs Chicago Bulls 8:00 4/9/2019 [Game #81]

Next to last game. Win tonight and we will have 17 wins tying the record for the Knicks worst season.

Lot of rumors that KD is a done deal coming to NY with the majority of NBA players thinking he's headed to NY. The question is will he come without KI or will it have to be a package deal? We get Zion and KI becomes a perfect fit and we can trade DSJ or Nits for veteran help. Looks like an exciting and active off season for the Knicks.

The Bulls got guys in their starter lineup that were bench players in the G.League SMH

Knox shooting over 40% from 3 over his last 14 games. He's had his ups and downs but it looks like Fiz letting him play as a starter for the entire season was the right move.

It would have been the right move if Fizdale had 4 veterans in the starter lineup .. Knox learned nothing from the role Fiz gave him !!!

39-24 after 1. 59% shooting, I'd be surprised if the Knicks don't win by at least 10 pts.

MRob just took a mid range jumper. He came up way short, but love to see him expand his offensive game.

Tomorrow's game against the Pistons looks to be an important one. If the Pistons lose and CHA MIA win. 3 way tie and I don't know who owns the tiebreakers. Pistons in control of their own destiny in a must win for them. Fiz needs to play to win and not have that GLeague squad he played of Garrett, Jenkins, Hicks, Ellenson. DJ needs to play, Mario if he can.

I assume the HEAT win tonight with that big lead. Breen just said if CHA and DET are tied CHA has the tiebreaker.

Knox with the 3 point dagger as the shot clock expires. Nice game for DSJ. Knicks win #17, tying franchise low for wins, and if they win against Detroit, they will avoid that franchise worst record altogether.

10 pt margin. 96-86 Knicks, more importantly the boys avoid the worst record in franchise history.

    Half-Time 57 - 50 Knicks
So far coach Fizdale's no-defensive effort system cant put away the G.League Bulls by Half-Time.

    The Knicks beat the G.League Bulls 96 - 86 ..
It's not a bad win, even though the average NBA team would've scored 110 or more points over the G.League Bulls.
The Firing of David Fizdale after our next game are a MUST !!!
