KD off to a hot start then oh oh! Back to the locker room with that same right lower leg injury. Looks like this is the end...

He’s not coming back if there is a game 6. Grabbed down by his Achilles also, doesn’t take a month to recover from a strained calf. Raps just cut that double digit lead of the Dubs down to 1 but the Dubs put on a last minute flurry to get it back to 6 at the half Dubs up 62-56.

I think KD is vindicated against all the people who said he was not really badly injured, but at what price?

Well, that was Durantís attempt at a Willis Reed moment. Scores 11 points in 12 minutes before having to leave the series again, this time likely for good. Warriors close the series to 3 - 2. Toronto going to start to feel the heat now.

Looks like it's an Achilles injury for KD, that's really awfull. Cousins needed over a year to return from his injury but nothing is sure with these, really sucks for both him and the teams interested in singim him..

Up 6 with 3 minutes to go... having just torn lead for first time... in the midst of a 12-2 run. AWFUL timeout called by Nurse.

Nick has had a great series but that timeout has to be one of the worst timeouts in NBA history?

What purpose did it serve? All it did was help GSW regroup and caused Raptors to tighten up.

TOR survives 7-27 from downtown bc they were home and Warriors were banged up... game and series was there to be won... just needed a bucket or 2... why kill Momentum?

KL forced a shot, Lowry miss, Lowry turnover followed by a gasol stumble... TOR never got it going again.

Raptors also made same mistake HOU and OKC did... you ainít gonna beat Warriors in a 7 game series if you make it predominantly about the 3-point shot. GSW best at it ever!!! Pound them
And exploit their weakness... if 3 is falling then let it fly... if not... donít force the issue.

It was a 6 point game and TOR was 5-25 from downtown. Had they gotten 2 points in half those possessions, TOR up 20 and itís a laugher.

Raptors have bounced back plenty this playoff run... I wonít count them out... GSW has to be lights out from downtown to survive without KD, and they were.

I wonít doubt GSW ability to keep naming it rain... it just feels (like HOu and OKC before them) that TOR had their shot
    Tonight and they blew it.

Iím calling Bs. Give guys a rest? Give me a break. You wanted to relish the moment... prepare your team for the series win and NBA title. It backfired big time.

Again, arguably the worst called timeout in NBA history.

Funny with the Raps with a decided 3-1 advantage coming into this game, many think the Warriors have the Raps right where they want them. Dubs probably win that game at Oracle and will come back to TOR for game 7. I said I thought the EC having home court would be big this year in dethroning the Dubs, I still think it, not only Scotia but the entire city is behind the Raps to win their first championship. Need to contain one or both of the Splash Brothers in one of the remaining two.

Didnít really think about the TO during the game as I was caught up in the drama but....pretty funny this the conversation.... Dubs hit 12 more 3ís so Craptors were fortunate to be in position to win. Almost good Dubs won or the conversation would have been about the Boogie goaltend or the moving screen call. Iím not rooting for either team just a good series. They say itís not a series until the home team loses. Well the home team has lost multiple games here. Looking forward to Thursday night now

Steve Kerr is asked if he has any regrets about bringing Kevin Durant back into the series. ďIím going to leave that to Bob (Myers)."
Warriors GM Bob Myers will speak to the media soon about Durantís injury.
I donít know what that means but thatís not normal."
Bob Myers, fighting back tears, confirms that Kevin Durant has an Achilles injury"
Warriors GM Bob Myers issues a statement on Kevin Durantís injury .. ďItís an Achilles injury. I donít know the extent of it.Ē

"I don't believe there's anyone to blame" are they for real ???
And then acts as if he's being noble by saying "but if you need to blame someone, blame me !!!
And still lying about the initial injury CTFU

So far we have to go on what we know ....
They are saying it was a calf injury. Upper calf or lower?
Calf on a 7 foot man is long.
Lets assume lower, and lets assume there was a risk to the area.
read he was doing twice a day workouts to get back. Not the lack of effort.
Lets assume they were quiet about it to keep Houston/Portland/and Toronto on their toes. Sort of a strategic thing. Fair.
Lets assume the final decision is on the player. His career. We were never in the room when the Doctors outlined the risks to Durant.
I assume there were team of doctors, plus Durant had his own.
I could only assume he knew the risks and made his own decision. Pressure to play from all sides and from within to play.
Blame circumstances. Could have been prevented. We were not in the room when these things decided.

After Game-5 of the FINALS .. which has the Raptors leading the series 3-2
And the full implication of the clarity of Super-Star KD injury publicly noted .. No more mystery !!!

I have the FINALS going all 7 games for the Net-Work ..
I'm not taking nothing away from the Raptors dynamic performance in the post-season, but
I have the Dubs winning their 3 in a row championship Dynasty !!!

14 lead changes. Lowery balling with 21 pts. Raps up 60-57 at the half. Gasol sucks, can't stay in front of anyone and has 1 pt, I'd sit him and go with Ibaka for most of the second half. Kawhi will come out with a better second half than first.

Congrats to the Raps for their first title in club history. 2 smallest guys on the floor, Lowery and Vanvleet, played like giants combining for 48 pts. Vanvleet hitting big shot after big shot with 12 in the 4th. Dubs have nothing to be ashamed of playing like the Champs they are, losing KT to a knee injury in the game and KD to an Achilles but giving the Raps all they could handle this series.

KL still holding his cards close to the vest not tipping what he's thinking about FA, but I'm thinking he's going to be be like PG and throw a signing party for that new contract with the Raps on the first day of FA but if he doesn't I wish he would at least talk to the Knicks.
