They have to do something at PG, season is past the midway point, I don't see either of DSJ or Nits making major strides. Nits is an overrated defender, heard a comment from another teams announcer that he had 2 steals in the last 10 games so why is he considered an elite defender. I mentioned the same thing early in the season why does an elite defender not have steals or blocks in the box score.

Defender is one that defend his player who he is match up against. Defender has nothing to do with steals.
Question - If you got a PG that you would it change the Knicks situation? Think about it before you answer because you aren't looking at the team needs.

Can't hit a shot going 2-21 on 3s and shooting the usually terrible 69% from the line and only 3 pts down. Still night pull this one out.

Portis and DSJ have to be the dumbest guys in the league, Portia gets ejected for throwing a tantrum on the court and DSJ just plain dumb, Wally saying he's got to make the smart play on one of his turnovers but when you're just plain dumb you can't.

86-81. Beal trips and falls down. They call a foul and ref gifts WAS 2 points.

88-81 and Randle wide open cutting to hoop but poor bounce pass from EP and weak hands leads to a turnover, and Beal drains a 3 on the transition.

We got Payton thankfully, he's not great but he's serviceable getting to the rim and he makes steals. The other two guys don't play enough to make an impact but DSJ is a complete waste of a roster spot. Nits slightly less of a waste. Knicks have to make some roster decisions and one of them will be to keep Payton because they don't have a choice with having the other 2.

Well it turns out we really needed to keep Mook and we were right to assume that without him we would not be competitive without him after tonight.

There is a lot to say about your assessment of Frank. Not sure what you looking because Frank is always trying to setup the suppose shooter on this team. To Payton credit he has been pretty good. I'm not a fan of Payton but let give credit where it due. You should look at the over -all team because a new PG isn't the answer to what wrong.

If Payton was receiving the same spot minute of playing-time as Frank & DSJ his performance would be no better than theirs.
Frank & Knox have a better performance when in a lineup together having MitchRob & Dotson.
All these mixed-up lineups with no leadership and no system plays having a no passing Randle-Handle wanting the ball on every offensive possession when Frank or DSJ are at the point.
Tonight, Ellington and Portis perimeter shooting (3-10) did not have Gibson or MitchRob in their lineup to provide Picks and screens for open looks.

Typical NYK... go back to OT on Sunday.... Knicks up 8, with the ball and 90 seconds left...

Knicks on verge of a 5 game win streak, be 4 back of 8th seed and a chance to enter all star break on a 6 game win streak with a home win vs lowly WAS...

We finally canned Mills.... praises for hiring Leon Rose and WWW... convinced Stout to tackle our image issue...

A few days later... Knicks blow OT lead, blown out at home and barely try... Stout makes an ass of the org and WWW decides he cant join the org.


This. Is what it’s like rooting for NYK under Dolan’s leadership.

You can’t make this stuff up...

NYK now 17-38... if they were 19-36 they would be the most overrated loser team nearly 20 games under .500 in NBA history.... we fans would’ve rode that high all AS weekend.

That’s what we’ve been reduced too. Begging for something... anything to cling to and root for.
