    1. Perry was prepared to draft Sexton if he fell to 9. Cavs took him 8th. We selected Knox with the next pick.

    2. Sexton a CAA client

    3. Knicks willing to deal 19 & 21.

    4. Toppin a Dayton (Ohio) player and stuck behind Randle.

    5. Cavs donít feel heís a max player, they prefer Garland and they donít feel a Sexton-Garland backcourt will get them over the hump.

    6. Sexton more explosive offensively than Ball

Is it wise to go near max in Sexton and Randle?

Does this make them more or less likely to swap RJ?

    Sexton
    Beal
    Randle

    This do much for anybody?

Could the Knicks trade Knox, Toppin, 19, 32 for Sexton?

Then, off Ball a contract that NO wonít match?

    Ball
    Sexton
    RJ
    Randle
    MItch

Is this the route they take?

Free-Agent Dinwiddle would be the perfect replacement of PG Payton in the Knicks starter lineup. Plus Dinwiddle skills could help improve RJ Barrett's low b.ball IQ performance in the Knicks back-court.
Dinwiddle has a creative-leadership & experience as a top PG/SG to improve the Knicks guards performance in the rotation. Something both Lonzo Ball & Sexton doesn't have yet in their NBA skills.

I would like Dimwiddy, if price is right.

    As for pick 32:

According to one league source, Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau was pushing for West Virginia sophomore point guard Miles McBride, who has been projected in some mocks as an early second-round or late first-round pick. Itís unclear at which slot Thibodeau would prefer to select McBride ó No. 19 or 21 in the first round, or No. 32 early in the second round ó but the 20-year-old impressed him in his Knicks workout.

I also like Mcbride play-making skills, but the Knicks are in dire need of a vet starter PG to replace Payton .. DRose hardwork earned him the 6th man spot for next season.
The Knicks are also missing a young backup SF who could for-fill the position in the draft like Jonathan Kuminga, Scottie Barnes, or Corey Kispert.
