    Julius Randle just put 34 on his former team the Lakers, 32 on his former team the Pelicans and now has 44 on the Mavs in his hometown of Dallas on national TV. Hell of a run by him. #Knicks on a 5-game winning streak.
    @ESPNNBA

    A season ago, the Knicks were the laughingstock of the basketball world after they handed Kristaps Porzingis to the Dallas Mavericks on a silver platter and hitched their wagon to Julius Randle (stat-padding loser) and RJ Barrett (not even on the All-Rookie teams). What a difference a year makes!

    Julius Randle is the first Knicks player with 40 Pts, 10 Reb and 5 Ast in a single game since Bernard King did it on March 22, 1985 in a win against the Pacers.

    Longest winning streak in 7 years!

    “That’s the beauty of the team I really like the depth of our club,” Tom Thibodeau said. “And we’ve had a number of guys step up in the fourth quarter, and play well. You need everyone and the willingness to sacrifice, put the team first, recognize when someone’s going well. That might mean you might not finish the game that particular night, but you search that person out because he’s got a good matchup and he’s going well. You have to put winning and the team first and that’s what I love about this group, their willingness to sacrifice and commit to the team first.”

    RJ Barrett was fantastic down the stretch of Friday's road win, finishing with 24 points (9-of-18 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), eight boards, two assists and one steal.
    Barrett came in making 56.4% of his 3-pointers in the Knicks' previous nine games, and went 3-of-6 tonight. He's taken a huge leap as a shooter this year and his offseason work ethic is worth remembering on draft day next season. Barrett played nearly every minute of this game, due partly to the absence of Alec Burks (health and safety protocols) and partly to coach Tom Thibodeau's typical approach to playing his stars monster minutes
