Quickley comes in for RJ over 11 minutes into the 1st quarter. Randle still out there.

I don’t understand our rotations. Kemba/Burks are our PG rotation and RJ/Quickley are rotating with each other? That doesn’t seem right to me.

We get our brains bashed in throughout the 1st quarter. Heat look real good.

Randle plays the entire 1st quarter with 4 points, 4 boards, and 2 assists.

I don’t get it. Why play him all 12 minutes? Will Obi play most of the 2nd quarter now? What about Cam?

We start the 2nd quarter with Taj, Toppin, Grimes, Burks, and Quickley.

Burks misses a fast break layup. Earlier he had a terrible turnover. He’s our 6th man right now. I loved what he did last year, but he’s not been as good this year.

Would love to see what Cam can do.

We’re not a good enough team on either end tonight. Still, only trail 13 at the half. If you watched the 1st half, you’d think we’d be down more than 20 with how badly we got outplayed.

The difference in speed at which Miami’s players get from collapsing in the paint to back to the perimeter to contest shots on defense, compared with our guys like Fournier or Burks, is hard to believe.

Adebayo, PJ Tucker, and Jimmy Butler are completely taking our frontline out of most possessions. Kemba and Fournier need to do something. Anything.

Another turnover for Randle. We trail by 22.

The screens the Heats set for Herro & D.Robinson 3-ball attack were perfect .. the same type of screens the Knicks need for players Fournier, Kemba, and Quickleys 3 ball shot.

You look at our starters and you ask, which of these 5 guys is going to match the defensive intensity of a Jimmy Butler or PJ Tucker? The answer is no one.

If we can’t play team defense, we have no players who are going to get it done individually. That is a problem.

Thibs. You got to make some subs here. At the very least, get Obi out there to at least force Miami to deal with his athleticism around the rim.
