Well not only because he's lazy...
But how many teams will take the risk considering his Heart Condition.
While it may not be a hazard for him, it's still something every NBA team will consider....

I think Eddy has more value then most of us would expect, hes overrated. Most big guys with size are, a couple years ago there wasnt that many good centers. Teams would give up alot for a player with size like Eddy (like we did, except we gave up toomuch). Theres more good centers now with the emergence of D Howard, A Stoudamire, and Greg Oden (next year), but I still think any big man with size that can score is probably overrated. I think we can get a good draft pick for un-Steady Eddy and an expiring contract.

Eddy has hit a low. He will be more successful on a different team.. now in NBA 2k8 I traded Mardy Collins and EC to New Orleans for Tyson Chandler. Great trade for both teams. One team got a defender, and one team got offense, inconsistant. but a potential player Mardy Collins. Don't think it would work in real life...

Turiaf, LaMarcus Aldridge also have heart problems. As a matter of fact Aldridge almost ended his career last year due to an irregular heartbeat.

I think more teams would be interested then people think. We have Curry starting at center which is a mistake... if we could bring him off the bench then this team could MAYBE work but you still need a better starting center who plays D(Lee and Randolph aren't centers so stop wishing!!). Other teams who have that can bring Curry off the bench as a scoring low post threat and put a good rebounder/defender next to him (something the knicks just cant do). Curry is a horrible starting center but could be a very useful backup(role player). Just imagine if Curry was Duncan or Yoa's back up... other teams would never get a break.

Curry is tanking. He's not nearly as bad as he's playing right now. All these guys want out and who can blame them. The organization is a laughing stock.
