I got an idea. I don't know if it'll work, but here it goes. After we're done with the draft, we can do free agent signings like this:
If a player averaged 5 or fewer points per game, in the 07-08 season, thier salary must be at least between: $330,000- $2,400,000 per year, for up to 5 years.
If a player averaged between 6 and 10 points per game, in the 07-08 season, their salary must be at least between: $2,500,000-$5,000,000 per year, up to 10 years.
If a player averaged between 11 points and 15 points per game, in the 07-08 season, their salary must be at least between: $5,100,000-$9,000,000 per year, for up to 10 years.
If a player averaged between 16 points and 20 points per game, in the 07-08 season, their salary must be at least between: $9,100,000-$13,000,000 per year, for up to 10 years.
If a player averaged 21+ points, in the 07-08 season, their salary must be at least between: $13,100,000-$30,000,000 per year, for up to 10 years.
Reminder: Free agents can always be waived, if you don't want to keep them on your roster, or if you can't find a team to send a player you don't want to keep.
Here's a system for the Rookie Salaries, too:
All GM's must pay their first round picks(1-14) between 2.5 million and 5 million dollars a year, for at least 3 years.
All GM's (15-30) must pay their player between 2.5 million and 5 million dollars a year, for at least 2 years.
All GM's must pay their second round picks(31-60) between $330,000 and 2.4 million dollars, for at least 1 year.
