Saw Tony Stewart at Home Depot once, he was doing a meet and greet.

Was looking for carpeting and he walks by with like 3 cops with their chests puffed out like they were the real deal. I yelled "Nascar isn't a sport!" as he walked by, but he ignored me.

All Star
Growing up in Missouri in the shadow of the University( Hey MIZZOU), there were players around all the time. Jon Sundvold could hit from anywhere before there was a 3 point line. Anthony Peeler had great all around game even though there was a local legend that even Peeler couldn't fade. Byron Chamberlain posterized my boy once. I knew to go the other direction but my boy got caught under the rim nasty style. Nuts in his face and all. Funniest thing ever. I had a step for step foot race to a ball with Mario Johnson once. He was really quick for being at least 275 and I gave up because forget diving for a ball against that. He ended up with the Jets for a bit. Saw Barkley in a club once back in the day with Armon Gilliam while Charles was still with Philly, but I didn't want to get swatted so I left him alone. My biggest thrill was meeting James Worthy. I was living in Colorado in the mountains just saw him walking down the street. So I go running out to meet him and he just introduces himself like " Hi, my names James." I was in awe and shook his hand and said " mine too." How cool is that??? He was great and saw him in the club later on that night and bought him a beer. Classic!!!!

Legend
Lived in the same building as Derek Harper, Anthony Mason and John Starks in White Plains. They were all cool, Starks and Harper more friendly, Mason more the quiet type. Mason and Starks used to run in the indoor pool for conditioning.
