Less than a week before the trading deadline, Isiah Thomas spent part of yesterday meeting with other general managers. The Knicks president is trying to make his team more athletic, particularly along the front line. However, the Knicks still have interest in Chicago guard Jamal Crawford, who is expected to be traded by Thursday's deadline.

Thomas is also exploring the possibility of adding an athletic center and has expressed interest in Atlanta's Nazr Mohammad and Portland's Dale Davis. Thomas is willing to trade Keith Van Horn, Michael Doleac, Dikembe Mutombo, Shandon Anderson and Frank Williams.

i dont see why we shud get jcrawford.. unles we plan on using him as a back up pg.. id rather beef up our frontline.. someone thats as tough as kthomas or mayb tougher.. our swingmen are fine w/ penny and shandon(although he might get traded) plus we have djohnson for the rest of the season.. our backup pg's need to step up but mostly we need quality big men..
