    Default Hasta Luego Willie

To bad to see him go. He's a great manager, a great guy. The mets totally 100% f*cked up with the way they handled that. take a guy out to f*ckin california for a day, then tell him he's fired at midnight. Willie is a class act and he didnt deserve that. Although i felt it was a move that had to be made, this was the worst possible way it could have went down.

On the other hand, Jerry Manuel seems like a good manager. At first i thouhgt it would make absolutley no difference at all because he has pretty much the same exact personality as willie. But after the press conference yesterday, he's got a different view on many things then willie had. I dont think he's as layed back as willie. I think thats what really killed willie. His layed back personality. It's hard to be conservative in NY.
Damn player-centric usernames straight to hell.

Randolph doesn't know anything about tacts in baseball as evident by his managing. This was long overdue. Now they just have the guy who Willie asked for help most of the time doing it directly.
