this is a really good trade for all teams involved

Denver gets low post presence next to Billups and Carmelo

Memphis gets energy and a decent low post scorer who rebounds and has good post d

and we get good young players who could score and cap-relief.

and Kudos JPZ on reaching 1000:peace::thumbsup:

Thats actually a real good trade for all teams involved...

Denver does love Linas Kleiza, but he is the perfect fit for our system. Guy can shoot the lights out.

I'd worry about J.R. because as talented as he is, he seems to be one of those guys with a million dollar body and a 10 cent brain.

We ditch Jerome James for another expiring contract and a shooter, and pick up another shooter.

GS gets rid of Belinelli whom they are trying to deal for money and a little cap relief.

Bucks get rid of Damon Jones who they won't play(a la Stephon) and the bloated 3 yr deal with Charlie Bell for an expiring.

who do we cut then? 17 players...

DaTPRiNCE

The Knicks are Back
thats the one problem with that trade loll,...with my trade that leaves us at 16 i think and we cut James so its a win for us and were getting real good young talent that'll just leave us with a big for our future, Thabeet maybe?

Well this is assumin Steph gets booted and we just cut Damon Jones. Damon isn't playing for the Bucks because they feel, well, that hes an asshole. So Dolans can just take the hit. We increase our cap a little bit for next year, but there Bellineli comes off then if we don't wanna keep him.

Is it a blockbuster trade? No. But its more realistic. Bucks giving us a contract that extends past 2010 and an expiring for James' expiring. It basically gives us a little less of a cap break in 2010 by about 2 mil, but it gives us two shooters for D's system, one of whom we can develop or dump after his contract expires.

Hawks get earlier cap relief and get rid of two guys that aren't really playing.

We get a athletic big man who can block shots and a young guard. Both expire before 2010. This is meant solely to help us in the short run. Capwise its about the same relief before 2010 for us, so its more of filling a need. Za used to dominate us...Kid from Georgia...the country...

We get cap relief and they get a scorer to go with LeBron and a defensive guard for when they need someone to guard other teams scorers.

We get rid of Curry. Gain a bigman who can block shots and a scorer that comes off the books next year. Both expire before 10'

They get a legit low post scorer, someone to team up with Tyson Chandler. The piece that is missing from their puzzle.

We get a shotblocking center that expires before 2010 and who isn't getting a whole lot of grind. He be usurped by Marc Gasol.

They get an expiring.

Mainly we get OJ.

They do it because ZBO is killing it and they are willing to trade a future star for a productive 20 and 10 guy and the fact that we are willing to eat the contracts of Walker and Jaric. Walker isn't playing and Jaric isn't worth the money.

It hurts our 2010 plan, but we get OJ.

From Memphis's side, they are 11 million better cap wise.
