I forgot what the black strap thingy on the upper left hand jersey represented. Anyone have a clue?

best thing about the 90's is John Starks dude came outta nowhere to become a knick legend watching games on espn classic dude was nasty....Ewing, H20 and Spre...ahh the good old days makes u miss em even more after watching Crawford and Curry

the jerseys were much better looking back then too. the Knicks should also go back to blue in the paint instead of orange.
