Uhm...what about the biggest trade of the offseason?

Obtaining one closer wasn't enough for the Mets. On the day Francisco Rodriguez passed a physical, GM Omar Minaya obtained Seattle's J.J. Putz in a three-team swap that shipped out seven players and involved Cleveland. "All I kept on hearing on the streets of New York when I go get bagels in the morning: 'Omar, address the bullpen,'" Minaya said at the Bellagio early this morning. "Well, to Mets fans: We've addressed the bullpen."
The Mets also got outfielder Jeremy Reed and righthander Sean Green from Seattle. They sent Aaron Heilman, Endy Chavez and minor-leaguers Maikel Cleto, Mike Carp, Ezequiel Carrera and Jason Vargas to the Mariners and Joe Smith to Cleveland.
Franklin Gutierrez went from the Indians to Mariners, with Luis Valbuena headed in the opposite direction. Cleto, a righthander capable of reaching 100 mph, was about to be rated the No. 8 prospect in the organization by Baseball America, while first baseman Carp was to be rated 18th and the outfielder Carrera 22nd. Heilman may be given a chance to start with Seattle.

Cameron would be just a stop gap until Jackson is around, and I'm totally fine with that. Melky has no real future with this team...he had a horrid year last year and even if he were to be on the roster I'd see Gardener starting over the Melk Man. Cameron > Melky, especially for the 1-2.5 years the Yanks will need him.

Crazy Kyle Fareworthless is not that bad of a reliever. His stuff is electric. The thing with him is that he is all over the plate. The guy is wild as fvck.

But the problem is that although he has been in the majors for quite a long time he still hasn't been able to work his mechanics out. I don't know what it is, it might be his work ethics or he is a blind fvck (He actually carries glasses when he pitches) but the guy can't keep it straight.

When he does find his spots though he is lights out. I got to give him that.

^Fransworth was terrible.. every time they put him in I either expected 1-2-3 k's.. or 8 ER's.. And I'm back guys.. This just in Angels withdraw their offer to Tex!! Yanks, Red Sox, Nationals, O's are going after him now.. And the Sox have dropped interest.. Now for Manny.. Teams going after him are LAD, LAA, WAS, and NYY.. I hate Manny

the Yankees are gonna make an offer to Tex' relatively soon and i personally think he ends up signing with the Yankees he's a great 1B plays good glove steals and hits for both power and contact perfect protection player for A-Rod, best part is he's in his prime so he'll be good for a while..we havent had an all round first basemen this good since Tino left and as for Manny i see him signing with the Angels their gonna go after him hard now especially since they dropped out of the Texiera derby

either one of them would be great for us Manny strikes fear into any pitcher he faces and would be perfect in front of A-Rod we saw what he did infront of Ortiz in boston this guy would give us the deadliest combo in baseball, along with our much improved rotation we on a road with a one way stop to the WS ( i hope loll)
