    As far as Amare to the Knicks: AMARE ALERT: Forward Amare Stoudemire is available but it's unlikely that Phoenix would consider a trade with the Knicks.

    One Knicks executive said that the club is "not on their speed dial," referring to D'Antoni's bitter breakup last season with the Suns. Also, Stoudemire was critical of D'Antoni, who in turn felt that Stoudemire didn't work enough on defense.

    Stoudemire reportedly will be traded prior to the Feb.19 deadline. Portland, Miami, Toronto and Sacramento have been mentioned as possible trade partners with Phoenix. Quoted from the Daily News...<<from another Knicks forum
