5. The Warriors (Ever Since I was a kid this movie enchanted me, I dont know why. The Subways with the grafiti, The Wardrobe, this movie was sheer briliance. Every Detail just made an impression on me.. Seeing New York City in the 70's is amazing as well, especially when you look at how different times are today... In my opinion one of the most underrated movies of all time.

1. Goodfellas
GoodfellasP.jpg

Every scene in this film is a work of art, absolutely amazing from beginning to end.

2. Kill Bill
kill_bill1.jpg

Kill Bill, taken as a whole, is a great ode to the samurai/kung fu films of old. Good music, but even a better story of a woman's bitter revenge.

3. Death Proof
death_proof_netherlands.jpg

Great soundtrack on this brutally violent, but smart movie with great natural feeling dialog between intriguing characters.

4. Clerks
clerks.jpg

Perhaps one of the best scripted movies ever written, this movie where essentially nothing happens and relies merely on dialog is funny, witty and poignant.

5. Beavis and Butthead Do America
tf.org-Beavis-Butt-Head-Do-America-free-2008.jpg

Before any cartoon really crossed the line, Beavis and Butthead were the nightmare of parents across the nation. This movie, with the 2 morons traveling across America in a quest to get laid is nearly too funny for words. If you haven't seen it, I suggest you do yourself a favor and go rent it now. Maybe it isn't as dirty as South Park, but it's just as funny.

Do the right thing is a great movie.
Also a weird moment to notice in there. This isn't really a spoiler, but when Mookie (Spike Lee) wakes up in the beginning, hes wearing a Bulls Jersey. When he goes to work, he wears a Dodgers jersey. when he takes a shower, he uses a New York Knick towel. Talk about a weird selection...

I change my favorite movies around, all the time. There are just too many good ones, out there, to choose only five favorites.

1. Appaloosa: I'm a big Western fan, and this is currently my favorite: very engrossing, really good bad guys that make you want them to die. And a real slut that you wish would get sold to some Navajo Indians for a horse or something.

appaloosa.jpg

2. Into the Wild: Great story about a guy who just gave up on the world and decided to go "into the wild."
IntoTheWildBoxArt.jpg

3. If you hate people, you'll love this film about a woman who can't bear to be bothered with helping a homeless man that got stuck in her windshield, after a hit and run.
Stuck-Poster-Sml.jpg

4. Traitor: An action film. Way better than the Bourne films, very deep, starring a Black actor, other than Will Smith or Denzel (Don Cheadle), a nice change:

5. Donnie Darko: Crazy film, about a teenager, sacrifice, time travel, parallel universes. You must watch the version with the time travel narration thingy, though. If you watch it without it, it's not nearly as good.

Honorable mention: Star Trek Wrath of Khan: Khaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!!!; Let the Right One in; the Man from Earth; A clockwork orange; Leon; Once upon a time in the west; Unforgiven; The Crow, etc., etc.
