That is high school.
The 6-11, 260-pound junior at San Diego High will forsake his senior season to play in Europe and not play at Louisville where he had committed.
He would then be eligible for the 2011 NBA draft.
?Nowadays people look to college for more off-the-court stuff versus being in the gym and getting better,? Tyler told the New York Times. ?If you?re really focused on getting better, you go play pro somewhere. Pro guys will get you way better than playing against college guys.?
It is expected that Tyler, who averaged 28.7 points a game last season, will play in Spain, Italy or Israel.
Tyler, who plans to earn a GED and attend college in the future, has the backing of his family.
?Give me the day Harvard is going to close and then I?ll reconsider,? said father James Tyler to Yahoo! Sports. ?He can always go back to school. It?s all learning. How is living in Europe not a learning experience??

This is going to be interesting...
