Well...Mcdyess only missed about 40 games in the same time, whereof there have been 20 this season because he was involved in the Iverson-Trade.
Assuming that Nene would still be here, you have to consider Mcdyess having spent the same amount of time as a knick.
So yes, I'd prefer Mcdyess over Nene (at least for the past 5 years).
The Knicks should have drafted Brook Lopez. Nene is injury prone, and he is overrated. His stats makes him look better than what he really is. This is the only season where Nene averaged over 7 rebounds and over 1 block. Eddy Curry had a 19.5 point, 7.1 rebound season, and look at him now.

No question that is was a bad trade, Nene has a lot of talent, but so does McDyess. Health is the issue.
