Knicks Buy Lakers Pick (29)

"New York Knicks officials are telling peers they have purchased the Lakers' No. 29 pick. The Knicks are planning to draft a point guard with their choice at No. 8, and sources say they're targeting a big man at 29. Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak said on Wednesday the team hoped to sell its pick and use to money to help re-sign free agents Lamar Odom and Trevor Ariza."

no, the Minny 28th pick is not official... it may be a slip of the tongue for a deal that may be in the works 2night and could end up at nothing

but no doubt knicks are not staying put like they did last year... cant wait to see how our team looks like after today

I'm just going by that fact that Dantoni has said he likes McClinton, and its easy to see why as he shot nearly 45% from 3 last year in the ACC.

Kinda the Dantoni style player.

Would be interesting to draft Nick Calathes and draft either a SG or someone else with the 8th.

if we can buy the 28th pick why not package the 3 ( 8,28,29) for a early pick and nab rubio?
