While the NBA snubbed him in yesterday's NBA draft, AD Vasallo was taking his anger on the Humacao Grises of the BSN. He scored 37 pts, 6 rebs, 7 assists and 2 stls, shooting 13-21 from the field.

And it's not like this is an isolated game. He averages almost 27 ppg and 7 rebs per game. He also had a 53 point game early in the year. A dominating performance for Angel Daniel Vasallo so far in PR, even more dominating than Arroyo and Barea has before they played in the NBA.

vasallo could be a nice addition as a 3 pt specialist.hackett, and adrien should definitely get a shot for sure.

Now we all must admitt that Dantoni has a free pick of the litter of the unchosen picks above and the NBDL players let go to get 2 to 3 players at every position for the Knicks SLT, this way PF-Hill and Combo-Douglas could put in 30 minutes of playingtime at their own position (to expose their strengths and weakness that must be worked on).

The Knicks never had a Summer League Team like the way Isiah set it up at every position, when he was here.
Coach Chaney and Coach Dantoni set-up the worst type of SLT for their first round draft players, that one could imagine....there was no reason for Gallo & Chandler to be playing at the Center & PF position last year if Morris was invited to the SLT camp.

Hopefully, more than half of the unchosen players get a chance to perform in these summer league games.

They should considering inviting Tyrese Rice or Ben Woodside. Rice was a big time competitor at BC and Woodside is sick.. I want to say he played for North Dakota State but i'm not sure but he gave Kansas all they could handle in the first round of the NCAA tourney.

I know Gallo isn't going to play in the summer league and i really see no point for Chandler to play if hes still on the team.

I don't think Chandler is going to play either. He's recovering from surgery to remove bone spurs.

Which is unfortunate. He needs to improve his ball-handling skills and now he won't have the time to work on improving his game. In all likelihood, he will be the same player this year as he was last year.

Knicks invite Ewing Jr. to summer league team
By Alan Hahn

Newsday

(MCT)

NEW YORK ? The Knicks are interested in giving Patrick Ewing Jr. another look with an invite to their entry in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. The league runs from July 10-19. Also on display for the Knicks will be first-round picks Jordan Hill and Toney Douglas.

The Knicks acquired Ewing Jr., the son of the Hall of Fame center, from the Houston Rockets on Aug. 29, 2008, for the rights to former first-round bust Frederic Weis.

Ewing Jr., who was originally drafted by Sacramento, was invited to the Knicks' training camp and was the last player cut from the regular season roster. He spent the entire season in the D-League, averaging 16.8 points, 8.9 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game in 30 games for the Reno Bighorns. He suffered a season-ending knee injury in March, but has recovered.

lol...who the hell drafts a guy who averages 6.6ppg

Who didn't expect someone like that to be a bust?

Guys like Gallinari, Ricky, Rudy have no bust potential because they were elite in the league at a very young age.

Nicoloz wasn't elite at all, and played in a 2nd level league...he was just young and 7 foot.

Same happen to Darko, but Darko does have talent...just a poor attitude.

Metro.....when young players at the age inwhich Gallo, Ricky, and Rudy, were comming into the Euro-league and performing the way they did speaks alot about that league. Competition is weaker than Ruckers Park.

U are also being way to nice to Darko....whom Billups, RIP, and Ben Wallace did not want a player (Carmelo) in that draft to replace Prince in the rotation.
Dumars stupidity (on all the Media's Big Hype each year on these Euro-League Players has been getting outrageous) selecting Darko to replace Okur whom Okur undevelope form showed big NBA level improvement in their previous postseason games making Ewing retire after losing a 3-1 lead in a series, plus giving Mutombo hell in the next series.
The entire Championship Detroit Roster did their best in helping Darko improve to the NBA level of B-Ball, which seem like a waste of time and energy when....Darko short visit with the Orlando Magic should explain what we will be receiving.

I'm just happy we got "Q.Richardson" out of our Lockerroom and from around Knick Players, Q.Rich has always been a divider of teammates since he was on the Clippers.

www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_arc...lottery_picks/#

Out of all the players I want our poor coaching-staff to work hard with:

SG: Morris Almond, Rice, 6'6, 215lbs
SG: Joe Crawford, Kentucky, 6'5", 210lbs

Two players inwhich we all talked about last year.
