How Much Cap Space Knicks Will Have In 2010

I'm sure that if the Knicks signed a second fiddle star to James first, then that would be enough to entice him to the apple. That's been stated as the goal indirectly.

1 All Star & 1 King.

We couldn't manage that with a Sessions signing because a Curry trade is so circumstancial and if it didn't eventuate, then that's ****ed everything entirely.

So,

Is missing the point.

The plan has never changed. The cap circumstances have. The immediate result isn't too pleasing... But it's still too early to throw stones.

Not throwing any stones....I would've rather signed a young solid Big-SG, but Sessions is the only decent young guard avalable in the FA market with his number one potential being his speed and great IQ in transition.
When u add that alongside of Duhon's decent halfcourt talent, and Nate's energy & speed, our PG position would be solid as a rock, with a creative guard rotation of ball-handlers that first step to the hoop or passing-skills to throw the ball inside or outside to scorers are solid.

The only thing coach Dantoni brings to the Knicks is his demand for ball-movement....so a player with Session talent fits in well with other guards who play into Dantoni's (ball-movement) system.

should up!

...As much as we needed a decent SG to help out in lastseason two-man (Duhon & Nate) guard rotation...so adding the last decent young upcoming FA PG-Session to our roster could have paid off in so many ways for this Knick team??

The Knicks would?ve been building their chances up higher for an elite 2010 FA by giving Sessions that same petty offer-sheet of $16M for 4 years (weeks ago)?..only our Knick management do not have any confidence within itself to rid itself of Jefferies ($6M) contract before the 2009-10 trading deadline. No Confidence!

Having Sessions $4M contract with Curry $11M as their highest contracts to start the 2010 offseason is more reasonable. The confidence level shown this offseason by our Knick management were not high or optimistic at all for Knick-Fans or any 2009 or 2010 FA.
Last season Duhon & Nate held-down the backcourt by themselves all season long, a player like Sessions added with them this upcoming season would?ve been a great uplift to the Knicks guard rotation....
The Knicks benching selfish SG-Larry Hughes individual performance for speedy PG-Sessions talent would?ve been best for the Knicks team and a great guidance for the rookie combo-guard Douglas future growth on the team.
Could've, Would've... I'm tired of getting should upon, Kiyaman!
Damn Plan 2010 from Outer Space!
No Confidence!

The Knicks 2010 offseason Salary Cap still stands at $31M.....with very few teams this offseason building up their fans market value by adding a decent player to their roster that brings hope and conversation for a better upcoming season.
so sells could go up.
very few teams this offseason (Turk to Toronto, Zach to Memphis, Tyson Chandler to Bobcats, Okafor to New Orleans, and the number 1 pick to Clippers, added players to build up their fan base for this low economic recession).
So with very few teams with a low base fans count in their stadium not doing anything to build-up hope and optimistic-fans to build their own market....the chances of the NBA Salary-Cap being reduced next season to $50M is still the same.

Leaving the Knicks around $19M cap space to work with in the 2010 offseason.
