I like Felton but we would undeniably be a better team with Nash running the point.

Hes old though, our best bet is to wait for CP3...hes like Nash with defense

Its just frustrating, we have been waiting for a long time for this team to improve and it could be another year like last year, the year before, and the year before

The moment 12/15 arrives we have to trade Felton. Bring in one of these young PGs sitting on the bench somewhere.

MD's offense relies on 3s and the p&r.... We can't shoot and Felton can't run the p&r. Somebody in contention will take Felton.... let's hope we only have to watch RF for another month.

If the Knicks lose to the 2-6 Rockets in MSG, Dantoni should get FIRED tommorow.
F.... politics!
we dont have an offensive scheme to match points, Amare knees cost us $100M,
this offense will kill those knees in one season dribbling through traffic
everytime he get the ball

The team would do much better if Herb Williams took this team on the road
for the next 4 games.

Let's just hope Dolan heard those Boos. Knicks aren't even trying. Have to fire MD. Heck, bring IT back. I don't care. Anything but MD is fine by me.

I'd rather see Mike D go before Felton to be honest....the Bobcats didnt even have a great team last year and still made the playoffs with Felton running the point. They did have a good sg (Steve Jackson) and sf (gerald Wallace), but I think they still had Okafor at that time, Nazr Mohammed, and im not even sure who else. ehhh that team did have a better supporting cast for Felton then we do, I guess im wrong. Jackson and Wallace are both good defenders and scorers. They are far superior to Fields/Gallo/Chandler

LIKE LIKE ..

They say this coach is known for his offense . What offense? This offense that we are playing ?? WOW ... Well him and his offense can go and fack himself.

AND YES he needs to be FIRED. DOLAN needs to sell this team. We need a coach who has both offensive and defensive mindsets, always putting the defense first.

We should try to contact Jeff Van Gundy and beg him to be our coach... Trust me everything will change...

Felton is a OK PG. I have come to conclusion that Mike D. is a real foolish clown.

All you need is Azubuike to come back and with an additional good big man (center) that is actually a starter this team can be a top 4 team in the EAST if it was coached well.

GALLO and Anthony Randolph need to get the fack outta here... We have to find teams that will take them in a trade situation...

1: fire pringles
2: hire defensive minded coach who runs an offense that uses movement of players and the ball
3: get a another player that creates offense for Themselves and others (preferably after drawing a double adter he's been killing the matchup if it's one on one)

And if all else fails:
3a: sign Candace Parker away away from the sparks

Actually. At this point I might make a sizeable wager on the Clips, barring some big change.

Gordon is going to feast, Griffin could put on a clinic. And if Baron is around its just the type of game to bring out his desire to play well.

Amy team aside from real underdeveloped basement teams The Wiz, Kings, maybe Sixers and HOU...I would rate as prohibitive favorites over us right now.

We are a hot mess.

^ yea I agree with those points the clipps do hav alot of talent and have a solid team. They just somehow find a way 2 lose. But I can see Blake going for 30 and 15 and Eric Gordon going Shannon brown on us

Felton-Douglas-Mason-Walker-Rautins

Is there a team in the NBA with a worse back court?

I?ll take Duke?s guards over this bunch (Irving, Smith, Curry, Dawkins, Thornton).

:barf: Gordon, Jennings, Tyreke, Curry...Mayo.

I guess Walsh only likes to show chutzpah and pull out the red carpet on trades and deals when we are getting 10cents to the dollar and dumping a 1yr MLE contract of a defensive specialist for 2.5 lotto picks including a rookie.

(Chandler and any of the above players are ours, along with another one)

Curry
Gordon

Pretty sick theoretical backfield. No $ needed for Felton, too.

Curry-Duhon
Gordon-Douglas
Lebron/Melo-Fields
Lee-TyrusT
Moz-TheBarron

Horford, M. Gasol on upcoming FA horizon.
It's nice to dream. :afro:

Well Coached Game

Another well-coached game by Mike 'Antoni.
chalk it up to a young squad trying to learn the intricacies of the SSOL,
and a new group of players trying to get a feel for the team.
Excellent substitutions, just no follow through by the young players.
Bill Walker looking fantastic on the bench, even better play by Roger Mason Jr, with 2 whole points;
amazing how his +/- can be -11 in 11 minutes. Good idea by coach to give Jr. a shot, he needs the confidence boost.
Moscov played better than usual, even when he's benched for a quarter at a time, but those 17 minutes were special.
Anthony Randolph with another special 11 minutes, contributing a solid 2 points and 4 aggressive rebounds.
15 assists by a young aggressive Knick team, we can only get better.
Excellent game from STAT, if everyone is going to stand around, you might as well drive straight ahead into the defense, bang those knees!!
2 amazing assists!
Great beginning to game by Gallinari with massive dunk, another dunk forthcoming in fourth quarter when game was just about out of reach.
Only 1 3-point attempt in 37 minutes by the Italian Stallion, he's learning!

Another fine defensive effort, and that's what really counts. Effort.
Keeping the Rockets just above 100 points is ahelluva lot better than 122 points.
Luis Scola looking like David Lee, with 24 pts, 8 rebs, 5 assists, and we all know he sucks, and so glad he's gone.
Jordan Hill, thank god he's gone too, that amazing dunk on the run was lucky, and he was lucky to have +/- of + 12 in 16 minutes.
Kevin Martin with a lucky game.

The good news is we are bound to start hitting our 3's, as we're missing so many, the tide is bound to turn soon. I'd say 1 out of every 3-4 games we're due to have a good shooting game. probably against the clippers. there's no way someone as fragile as blake griffin will torch this team, Mike 'Antoni's gameplan is sure to come through!! It's not his fault we're losing, it's all about the players he's playing not coming through! He's telling them to do what they do best, they need no game plan. It's all about gelling halfway through the season, we just have to wait for the players to get it together and understand what Mike wants out of them.

Go Knicks!! Go Mike 'Antoni!

Just simply amazing how Douglas is 11-39 the last 4 games (including 4-19 from three-point range), with 6 assists to 5 turnovers... In other words, doing nothing on the court to help NY whatsoever... yet he takes almost as many shots as STAT (despite fact STAT scored like 12 points in the first 5 minutes of the game).

HOw DOuglas is running around out there in the 4th last night was beyond me.

YET, Randolph takes an ill-advised shot or two, and he vanishes from the floor never to be heard from again (even though we need his size)?

Why is it we demanded N8 to be a facillitator, and put him in the doghouse for poor decisions, but yet Douglas isn't held to the same standard?

:alert::alert::alert:

Exactly. Right after the PHI game I said D'ant *needed* to put a leash on Douglas, and start figuring out a way to integrate Walker and Fields more into the offense. It's just good sense, but it also speaks to how D'ant *will* be running this team, and given how out team is made up, we need to work within those two realities.

Look. We have a *pathetic* backcourt. D'ant *craves* strong, dynamic, scoring/facilitating backcourts.

So it's natural that Douglas would be getting over-trusted, over-relied upon, and over-played, especially since he has flash in the pan type of moments that speak to him being just the type of guard D'ant would love.

But he can't be treated like some proven baller and just be unleashed and you feel confident in the decision. Which is why Fields or Walker need to be integrated more to take loads off Douglas when he isn't on.

Or, D'ant needs to not demand such play out of his guard spots, and play more of a Larry Brown type offense.

Of course, all of these quandaries beg further...why we never made an effort on any level to draft or sign one of the many rich guards we could have had since D'ant came aboard.

This roster is not for this coach. This coach is not for this city. I know new players need time to gel, but, what I've been witnessing is a team who is either confused with the coach's gameplan or it just doesn't fit this group. If the coach can not adapt to the strengths of the players...he needs to be canned. No one wants to pay over priced tickets to see a crappy performance. Losing to weaker and less talented teams is all on the coach, I'm getting tired of seeing that silly look on his face during the post game interviews. 3-7 (10 ) games. this is a preview to how the season will be if some drastic changes aren't made, SOON. The first few games has always been a peep into the seasons future.

D'Antoni needs to put a leash on Douglas. Badly. There's no way we'll get anywhere with a player shooting 1-11, that's the fact.

We should give Randolph some of Douglas's minutes...

Walker deserves some burn too. His spot minutes make development near impossible. I'm still gagging that Mason Jr was on last night while Billy lingered outside the huddles in time outs.

Douglas still plays his D, though. That can't be taken from him. He does, however, have ZERO passing game. So many instances where he's been either too late or too tunnel visioned to get the ball to the right place, right time.
