For the Fans! especially, for those who attend the games

I went to last nights game and even though the knicks never lost the lead after the 1st quarter. During the other teams run to get back in it...the garden was silent...weird. There was no one screaming lets go knicks, when they were on offense. Weird. It's like the fans were holding their breath...the players got tight and a steady lead was cut down. Like both fans and players were waiting for the knicks to blow it. Do you think the players don't notice the silence? Do you think they may in the back of their head say we need to get the crowd back into it? Do you think that may affect them? It's a lack of confidence in our team, by the fans and team itself. Take the the lakers...they never think they are out of a game, they fight, their fans believe. We need to, think like this, even if they sometimes don't come through, it will help long run with team confidence. We believe in them it'll help this young team believe in itself. Look at gallo on the road in 4th quater...no pressure from a silent garden crowd, he was nailing 3's into the coffin, like he's capable of. Because he's not worried about the crowd. But at home he is. So he missed some big shots he normally hits on road.

We need to support this team, cheer no matter what! No boo's. No holding breath. We can give this team the confidence they have on the road at home. With unconditional support...so they aren't worried about letting us down. They'll know we want them to play hard and even if they are down by 15 to have the confidence to know they can come back. Cheer, No boo birds, not even when they deserve it. "Lets go knicks", to motivate when they are down.

welcome to corporate square garden

^IMO, that's because most of the best tix (ie: season tickets) in first 3 tiers are purchased by corporations to give away to clients; the real fans, those who can afford tickets, 90% of them are in the upper rafters. these days, you've got folks texting 1/2 the game instead of watching, and why not, they're free tix, who gives a f*ck?

Yea, I have season tix in section 133 and I know of only 2 other sets of folks who have season tickets in the immediate area that attend almost every game and also makes noise. The rest of the section is pretty silent for the majority of the game and it's sickening.

The real fans need to take the Garden back.

true

Well hopefully they'll get there head out of their ass, when the knicks start winning and make some noise.
Try and spread the word, we need to make the garden a dream to play in and a nightmare for opponents
