Thats the current standings in the East right now. Knicks hold the 6th seed. How do you think it's going to look when the playoffs roll around?

I think Orlando will overtake Chicago for the 3rd spot and Miami may take the 1 spot. I hope we can beat out the Hawks for 5th since we already shaken up Chicago twice this season, and they would be much easier to beat than Orlando.

Really out of the teams below us I can't see anyone overtaking us unless we go on some horrible losing streak which given how we've been playing for over 2 months now, doesn't look likely.

i eventually see us overtaking ATL for the 5th seed i dunno why but thats the feeling i get. we face CHI in the first round and that series goes 7 in a classic. we edge it out though. just the way i see it going. loll.

all i know is that the rest of the way the field will be interesting as the 4-6 teams look very capable of easily swapping slots through april. which is why we must hold the tie-breakers. thankfully we won the series vs CHI, now lets do the same with ATL

Chicago do have more playoff experience than us but I think we can ride it out. Think about the MSG crowd being the 6th man at our home games, how electric the atmosphere will be after so many years without playoff basketball.

And yeah, the fact we beat them twice already helps!

they will be a force, now i see it going the full 7 yet my biasness is telling me were gonna win in 7 maybe we do maybe we don't. but it helps winning the season series it'll come up again later on in the season when playoffs are right around the corner

Even though we have had success against the Bulls I would probably pick them to win in 6. When Noah is healthy they might have a chance to move up, i see the celtics falling apart and gettin old again. It wouldnt matter still, we'd have to win the division to move up ahead of the bulls

Well doesn't matter if we win the division whether we finish 4th or 5th we probably still play the Bulls. With Noah they will be better but who knows what players they will have available come playoff time. Most teams are not fully healthy in the playoffs.

I think anyone could come out of the East this year though favourites have to be Boston Miami Orlando. All depends on injuries and who knocks out who.

Boston have let plenty of teams take them to 7 including Chicago who should have beaten them. We can beat Chicago so we should be capable of taking Boston to 7.

Orlando and Miami are tougher not sure how we can win a series against them after getting hammered in the regular season.

more experience, or more games than us

experience

I dont know

you have felton who was in the playoffs last year as our pg

and amare and coach d who have played and coached in more playoff games than both teams combined

along with the fact that COach T for the bulls, despite his extensive assitant coach experience for the celtics, has yet to call down the stretch plays in a playoff game.

Our goal should be to play Chicago or Atlanta in the first round. I want no part of Miami or Orlando in round 1.

If we were not in the same division with Boston... Let's hope for a loosing streak from Atlanta. We play them by the end of the month. Beat them would be a good way to start.
