The Cavs duo of Allen and Mobley is for real in the East. They big, we are not because we refuse to put both centers Jericho & Sims in the rotation as starter & backup the first 20 games of the season..
I saw a good Cav's team take advantage of our depth issue.
Cavs played good defense on Brunson. Credit their defense.
Garland went off and Mitchell stayed in his lane and let him.
Cav's cover the 3 well and are big when you go at the rim.
Atkinson is a good coach and has them playing good ball early.
Evan Mobley is not the kid knicks pushed around two years ago. He all grown up!
you have your only playmaker forcing it inside instead of trying to set others even if it’s just to free himself. Brunson was doing a bit of hero ball in the 4th and he has more talent. We are definitely not even close to un tapping our potential with Towns and Bridges.
Granted it takes time to gel, but the ball movement is terrible and the spacing isn’t there cause they are able to collapse on the ball without punishment. We have a ton of individual talent but no team-performance.
And the rotation have been off balance our first 3 games showing no team adjustment to our flaws.
Our biggest flaw is putting KAT at the center position when we have two young potential centers in Jericho & Hukporti who would do well alongside a PF KAT who can be explosive on the perimeter.
Talking & Writing about Knicks performance are good, but showing is better ...
