Thanks for the Game Thread Rady .. I'm glad Deuce McBride is healthy to play.
We needed Deuce performance to win over the Garland & Mitchell Cavs in the past 2 seasons.
We also needed MitchRob & IHart performance against Cavs Allen & Mobley

Half Time .. Knicks 52 - Cavs 45

Mikal 10 pts
Hart 9 pts, 10 reb
Brunson 9 pts
5-18 from 3's

Cavs
Garland 13 pts
Mitchell 11 pts
Allen 9 pts, 8 reb
5-20 from 3's

Our ball-movement ( 3 to 4 touches) are helping us score easy baskets .. we need to keep doing
Our inside defense is working well having Mikal

Nice Game from the Knicks new roster of players .. who may need to practice their offense/defense chemistry in a practice gym, to many desperate passes although only 16 turnovers.
I really got into this Knicks/Cavs game looking for all the Knicks advantage against the Cavs flaws.
I just couldn't find any advantage using Tibbs small-ball 8 man rotation.
We got the players .. why are we just playing 8 players in our 2nd, and 3rd game of the season?
Brunson 21 pts, 7 Dimes
Mikal 19 pts
Hart 16 pts, 13 reb
OG 15 pts
KAT 13 pts, 10 reb
Deuce 14 pts, 4 Dimes

Mikal & OG trap defense is awesome ..
KAT would've beast Mobley at the 4 spot for 30 pts, 15 reb, alongside center Sims, then center Hukporti in a lineup tonight.
Jarret Allen had a double-double (15-15) on KAT tonight.
Rookie Hukporti almost had a great Highlight in the 4th quarter when he replaced a 5 foul KAT.
Sims and Hukporti should've received 30 minute of playing time to split at the center spot in this game, to have 3 differ players at the center spot in the rotation, this way KAT dont have 5 fouls early in 4th quarter. .
Josh Hart grabbed 10 rebounds in the first half of the game, in the 2nd half Hart was only allowed to grab 3 rebounds.
The Cavs PG Garland grabbed a Cavs 81-80 lead early in the 4th quarter and refuse to let it go for a Cavs win.

The Cavs duo of Allen and Mobley is for real in the East. They big, we are not because we refuse to put both centers Jericho & Sims in the rotation as starter & backup the first 20 games of the season..
I saw a good Cav's team take advantage of our depth issue.
Cavs played good defense on Brunson. Credit their defense.
Garland went off and Mitchell stayed in his lane and let him.
Cav's cover the 3 well and are big when you go at the rim.
Atkinson is a good coach and has them playing good ball early.
Evan Mobley is not the kid knicks pushed around two years ago. He all grown up!

you have your only playmaker forcing it inside instead of trying to set others even if it’s just to free himself. Brunson was doing a bit of hero ball in the 4th and he has more talent. We are definitely not even close to un tapping our potential with Towns and Bridges.

Granted it takes time to gel, but the ball movement is terrible and the spacing isn’t there cause they are able to collapse on the ball without punishment. We have a ton of individual talent but no team-performance.
And the rotation have been off balance our first 3 games showing no team adjustment to our flaws.
Our biggest flaw is putting KAT at the center position when we have two young potential centers in Jericho & Hukporti who would do well alongside a PF KAT who can be explosive on the perimeter.

Talking & Writing about Knicks performance are good, but showing is better ...
