While other teams are battling for the 8th seed to make the playoffs, this game is the flip side of the coin for two teams battling for the worst record in the NBA to perhaps get the number one pick in the draft.

The Knicks still have the worst record by the slimmest of margins, a half game but they're coming off a great win against the Spurs that may have given them a ton of confidence against the lowly Wolves at home. If the Knicks finish with the second worst record they can fall to no lower than picking 5th in the draft, 3rd worst record no worse than the 6th pick and 4th worst record no worse than 7th.

Don't think I have ever said this about any Knicks team in all the years I've been rooting for them but this is a must lose game for the Knicks tonight.

We may get a look at the newest Knick Ricky Ledo, he participated in shoot around today.

Haha. Nice looking pair of tanks. Correction to the original post, the Knicks and Wolves are tied with identical 14-53 records, so this is a shootout for undisputed rights to the worst record. Question is how did the Wolves get this bad with Rubio, KMart, Wiggins and Pekovic?

The Wolves are really banged up to the Knicks tankers regret. On paper I think the Knicks squad is better plus the Wolves are going to have fatigue problems.

Wolves are up by 10 but are playing with 8 guys on a back to back. If the boys lose this game there is no excuse, that said they need to lose this game to keep the hopes alive for the worst record. They just need to shut down Dieng to win this one.

54-46 at the half. Wolves beating the Knicks from the FT line making 18 to the Knicks 5. Dieng has played every minute, I'm betting he wears down and the Knicks come back.

Knicks are missing some gimmies at the rim. The reason the Wolves are bad was because of injuries primarily. Go look at the missed games between Pek-Rub-Kmart

I can't believe Kmart dropped 40pts on us this yr with a broken wrist

The trio NBA players u mention has always been clueless on DEFENSE .... that's why their ex-teammate Love cant find any love in Cleveland.
I don't know why the Knicks are not shooting above 50%

The 14-53 Wolves are BAD (BUMS) because the team don't play DEFENSE .. just like the 14-53 Knicks

They are giving up 108 pts. a game that's a good reason to have 53 losses.
