Good for Livingston. After years of struggling to make an NBA roster after that horrendous knee injury he suffered he finally got a nice multi-year deal. Big loss to the Nets losing him.

I think what some GMs are doing is paying guys based on projecting their growth over the course of a contract, but still. Avery Bradley's contract begs to question.... for us what will Chumpert get because even when he's playing well(rare) not sure he's better than Bradley. I'm sure it will be interesting for him this year knowing it's a contract season.

Fair deal in respect to where they are at and how he finished the season. The problem is what contracts are currently being doled out and his pay in relation to....
George, Hibbert, West....it would clearly make him the 4th highest paid player on the team.
I guess u also would've FIRED GM Glen Grunwald a week before training-camp too.

Shaun Livingston became coach Kidds Finisher PG.
Deron Williams 36 minute performance in each of the Nets postseason games never showed-up to be the PG any fan would want on the court for their team in a big-game.
The Brooklyn Nets were suppose to put Deron Williams on the star-trading block at the start of the teams offseason.
I didnt like the move Jason Kidd pulled to get out of his Knicks contract to become a coach for the Brooklyn Nets, but I do understand.

They have the Non Tax Payer MLE...which will be between $5.2-5.7mil if he'll take it.
